Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Work Through The Distance Between Them Ahead Of ‘The Voice’ Season 10

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are getting closer and closer as they prepare to return to The Voice for Season 10. Although Shelton is currently out of town, where he recently performed a show in Detroit, his girlfriend remains supportive of the country star, and during his latest show, she was reportedly seen FaceTiming with someone in the audience, so she could be there in spirit.

On February 21, People Magazine revealed Gwen Stefani watched Shelton’s performance at the Palace of Auburn Hills live on her phone.

Gwen Stefani and Shelton have been dating for about four months after their professional relationship on The Voice turned personal during filming on Season 9. At the time filming began, both parties were newly single, with Shelton and his former wife, Miranda Lambert, announcing their divorce in July 2015, and Gwen Stefani having split from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, in August 2015.

In October of last year, Gwen Stefani and Shelton began making headlines for their alleged romance, and early the next month, after being photographed looking quite cozy during a Halloween bash, the two went public with their romance at a Country Music Awards after-party in Nashville.

Since their romance debut, Gwen Stefani and Shelton have continuously grown closer to one another, and for the last several weeks, Shelton has been getting to know her three sons with Rossdale, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 1. In addition to welcoming Shelton to her hometown in Anaheim, California, Gwen Stefani and her boyfriend have also been seen spending time with the boys at the movies and at the park.

As for what’s next for Gwen Stefani and Shelton, rumors of a pregnancy and an engagement continue to swirl, but so far, neither of those rumors appear true and technically, Gwen Stefani is still married to Rossdale. That said, if Gwen Stefani wanted to relocate to Oklahoma, where Shelton primarily resides, she could.

“There is no clause in Gavin and Gwen’s divorce settlement stating that both parties have to remain living in Los Angeles until their youngest son turns eighteen. They share joint custody of the kids, but there would be nothing stopping Gwen from moving to Oklahoma to be with Blake,” a source told Radar Online last week.

“However, there are no current plans for [Gwen Stefani] to move and she would never take the boys away from their dad,” the source continued. “Gavin and Blake are happily spending time together in Los Angeles. They travel back to Oklahoma, but their base will continue to be Los Angeles.”

“Blake absolutely loves the boys, and plays football, soccer and other games. Blake gets down and dirty with the boys and they love it,” the source added.

Gwen Stefani has appeared as a judge on The Voice for Seasons 7 and 9, and for the last few years, she and Christina Aguilera have been alternating seasons. However, while Aguilera is expected to replace Gwen Stefani during Season 10 as a judge, Gwen Stefani will still be included in the show as a mentor for her boyfriend’s team.

“We know we collaborate well together as coaches, so of course I would have her as my mentor, and she’s so smart and talented!” Shelton told People Magazine of his relationship with Gwen Stefani earlier this month.
