Louis Tomlinson is rarely out of the gossip columns. Even when Louis and One Direction are reportedly heading into their much-publicized break, it seems that Tomlinson and his bandmates will not be able to show their faces in public without someone pointing a camera at them.
As One Direction's break draws closer, fans are hoping that Tomlinson and his bandmates will be given some space to relax and recharge. Louis' bandmates, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, have, by-and-large, managed to avoid the spotlight since the turn of the year. Sadly, neither Tomlinson, nor Harry Styles, have had the same luxury.
At least stories about Styles have a passing acquaintance with his music career, usually until such time as Kendall Jenner and Rebel Wilson thought that they needed to boost their profiles. Tomlinson has had no such respite, as the tabloids grow increasingly intrusive over the most mundane aspects of his private life.Britain's Daily Mail seems to be one of the worst offenders when it comes to reporting nonsense about Tomlinson. As previously reported in Inquisitr, the Mail has run at least two major stories about Tomlinson drinking coffee. Over the weekend, the Mail returned to another major Tomlinson story: Louis went to a grocery store and had lunch with Danielle Campbell.
Almost unbelievably, this is the third time in a month that the Mail has made a feature piece out of Tomlinson visiting a store. On the first occasion, Louis and Danielle stopped by a store to pick up a case of beer. The day after it was reported that Louis' son, Freddie, had been born, Tomlinson was photographed in Sunglass Hut, of all places. Now, the Mail reports that Louis and Danielle visited gourmet food outlet Bristol Farms, where they "put on a tactile display." For those who need a little interpretation, that means that Louis and Danielle were spotted holding hands. The Mirror even went as far as to suggest that Louis and Danielle wore matching sunglasses and had the same color shoes on. It must be love, right?
One may be tempted to think that there is no common thread between these stories and those that apparently show Louis and Danielle on a hot date in some Hollywood restaurant. There is, however, a link, and a pretty strong one at that. The fact is that neither Louis, nor Danielle, ever look happy or comfortable. Far from looking the "loved up" couple they are described as, they look more like they have just been told a favorite pet has died. There are, of course, many reasons why Louis and Danielle might look miserable when they are supposedly out on a date. Tomlinson's fans are broadly split into two camps when it comes to this issue. Let's face it, if you are enjoying a quiet lunch with a new girlfriend, the last thing you want is someone shoving a camera in your face, and that seems to be what happens to Tomlinson every time he steps out.
Unreality TV reports that Louis appeared pretty ticked off as he was "papped" leaving Bristol Farms. Louis was less than happy when a reporter asked about his baby.Louis has made it pretty clear that he has absolutely no intention of talking about Freddie Tomlinson publicly, so he is certainly not going to get into a chat about it on the street with paparazzi photographers.
The second school of thought as to why Louis looks so miserable when he is photographed with Danielle runs that she is no more than the latest episode in a seemingly never-ending stream of "winter girlfriends."
Many One Direction fans have recognized that romances involving Louis and his bandmates follow a very familiar pattern. One Direction's tour wraps up, and a band member is suddenly linked with a new girlfriend, usually around the first week in December. The normal pattern sees the break-up story emerge with the arrival of the first daffodils, and shortly after the new tour starts.
Admittedly, most winter girlfriend stories have featured Tomlinson's bandmate, Harry Styles, but both Louis and Niall Horan have featured this year. Many of Tomlinson's fans believe that Louis' "romance" with Danielle Campbell is a fake as a recent dinosaur sighting, and that it will shortly be just as extinct.
