Stassi Schroeder Is A Manipulator? ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Dissed By Lisa Vanderpump Before Season 4 Reunion

Stassi Schroeder returned to Vanderpump Rules midway through production on Season 4, and today, she and her co-stars will come together in Los Angeles to film the reunion special with host Andy Cohen and their boss Lisa Vanderpump, who will surely be open with her feelings for Stassi Schroeder throughout the show.

After Stassi Schroeder quit her job as a waitress at Vanderpump’s SUR Lounge in West Hollywood, California in Season 2, she and Vanderpump’s relationship became strained. According to Vanderpump, Stassi Schroeder gave her no notice, nor did she say goodbye. However, Stassi Schroeder didn’t feel that was necessary and simply wanted to get away from her co-stars (including former boyfriend Jax Taylor and former best friend Kristen Doute, who admitted to sleeping together during the show) as quickly as possible.

Although Stassi Schroeder remained in New York City with her boyfriend, Patrick Meagher, for months after filming, she eventually returned to Los Angeles as a guest star during Season 3. As she filmed, she attempted, unsuccessfully, to mend her relationship with Vanderpump. Then, during Season 4, she tried yet again, but still, Stassi Schroeder was unable to get on better terms with Vanderpump, who graciously paid off a man threatening to release her sex tape. She didn’t seem sincerely sorry for anything she’s said or done.

In her latest blog, Vanderpump explained her thoughts on season four Stassi Schroeder, claiming she’s manipulating people in an effort to get what she wants. And while Vanderpump and Tom Sandoval saw through this, many did not.

“I kind of agree with Sandoval, really. [Stassi Schroeder’s] gonna come back, she’s gonna manipulate these people to do exactly what she wants to do. Same old Stassi,” Vanderpump wrote in her February 17 blog for Bravo TV.

During Monday’s show, Stassi Schroeder’s relationship with Scheana Marie was discussed, and around the same time, it was revealed that the two women made amends.

“Scheana’s a very important stepping stone to getting back to Katie because [Stassi Schroeder] knows that Scheana and Katie have become good friends. That shows me that she’s kind of the maestro of manipulation,” Vanderpump said of the friendship.

In addition to her feuds with her co-stars, Stassi Schroeder has recently been accused of ruining the show. Earlier this week, Jezebel noted that the show had been heading in the right direction when Season 4 began, but now that Stassi Schroeder is back, she “is threatening to throw it all down the drain.”

“[Stassi Schroeder’s] problem is that she’s unable to spin her narcissism into a semi-charming quality like, say, Jax. And she doesn’t flash her boobs all the time like Lala,” writer Kara Brown explained.

In addition, Brown noted, the endless apologies of Stassi Schroeder have put a damper on the typically entertaining antics of the Bravo reality show’s cast.

“Watching Stassi Schroeder’s apology tour of boring conversations where she is endlessly apologetic and banally deferential is not fun. She needs to be folded back into the show somehow but this ain’t it, or, at the very least, it’s taking too long,” Brown wrote.

Despite Vanderpump and Sandoval’s feelings about Schroeder, the majority of the cast eventually chose to forgive her, and in the weeks since filming concluded, she’s been spotted with Scheana Marie, Tom Schwartz, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney.
