Conan O'Brien has been a staple on television as a writer and a comedian for some time. First starting with Late Night with Conan O'Brien, he followed up with The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, ultimately settling on a show simply named Conan. For more than two decades, "Coco" has entertained millions of people across the United States with his active and spontaneous hosting style mixed in with awkward, self-depreciating humor.
Over the years, Conan O'Brien became an international star thanks to past episodes of his previous shows being aired in other countries through YouTube. However, Conan recently found out that he is a "rock star" in South Korea when he recently visited the country known for K-pop and K-dramas.

Prior to Conan O'Brien visiting South Korea, a South Korean fan sent him some letters which included Korean snacks. According to Kotaku, this was a fan gesture that initiated a new motto for Conan in which he will now visit the countries of fans who send him snacks.
"Because ladies and gentlemen, here is my motto, and I want this to get out all around the world. If you send me free snacks from your country, I will travel there in person to thank you. That's what I do."Apparently, Conan O'Brien visiting South Korea is a huge deal proven by the fact he was treated like a "rock star" once he arrived at the airport. When he stepped into the baggage claim terminal, he was literally surrounded by hundreds of South Korean fans, holding signs, cheering his name, welcoming him to South Korea. Not only that, Conan O'Brien's visit was breaking news on YTN News, a prominent Korean news outlet in the country, as shown in the video attached below.
Because of his popularity, Conan O'Brien ended up doing a lot more than he expected. Originally, he was going to visit the fan, known as "Sunny Lee," and thank her for the letters and free food followed by a recording of an episode in South Korea for his show Conan. In it, he will be visiting traditional Korean villages, drinking soju, and making and eating kimchi. Now, along with his friend, Steven Yeun of The Walking Dead, he is making numerous fan meet-and-greets and Korean news appearances which includes learning taekwondo, as reported by AllKpop.
However, the biggest appearance Conan O'Brien will have is a special guest role on currently-airing K-drama, One More Happy Ending. According to KdramaStars, the announcement was made when Conan, along with the K-drama's lead actress, Jang Na Ra (Fated to Love You, School 2013), took a selfie together on Instagram. In the post, Conan talked about meeting Na Ra and working with her on the romantic comedy.
For those who want to watch the episode with Conan O'Brien's guest appearance, a video of it has been attached below. For those who want to see Conan's part only, it starts at the 42-minute mark. It should also be noted Conan is meeting up with Park Jin Young (J.Y. Park), the owner and founder of JYP Entertainment, in discussing a new venture which migh possibly include GOT7, miss A, or most-likely, TWICE.
