ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Spoilers: Ben Higgins Faces Pressure And Drama During The Episode 8 Hometown Dates

It’s time for the hometown dates on ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season, and Ben Higgins will be meeting four families in Episode 8 airing on Monday, February 22. Just four bachelorettes remain in Season 20, and fans are anxious for Bachelor spoilers detailing these upcoming dates. What can everybody expect?

Viewers have already gotten some tidbits about the Episode 8 dates, and now ABC is detailing additional Bachelor spoilers. Ben Higgins will face some intense grilling during these hometown dates, and by the end of the episode, one more lady will be eliminated. The network shares that the lady left without a rose will be devastated and stunned as Ben struggles with this big decision.

The Bachelor spoilers detail that the show then will head to Orange County, California, to meet Amanda Stanton’s family, including her two little girls. Higgins also meets Amanda’s parents, and it seems that they will be asking a lot of questions about whether Ben is fully committed to having an instant family if he chooses Amanda. While Stanton’s dad seems to have his doubts, viewers know that Ben has done a lot of volunteer work with kids and he may well be able to overcome this family member’s concerns.

Lauren Bushnell’s date comes next and Higgins travels to Portland, Oregon, for this outing. The Bachelor spoilers tease that Lauren and Ben will spend the afternoon checking out the area where they visit a local whiskey museum and grab a bite. Later in the day, there will be time with Lauren’s family, and it seems her sister Molly will be hammering Higgins with some intense questions. Will he be able to convince her that he is sincerely falling for Lauren?

The third hometown date in Episode 8 is with Caila Quinn in Hudson, Ohio. Ben and Caila will check out her high school as well as her dad’s workplace during the daytime portion of their date. Of course, later there is time with her family for dinner.

The network’s Bachelor spoilers reveal that Caila’s dad will be the one putting on the pressure during this hometown date, wanting to ensure that his daughter won’t be hurt. Previews show that he will also talk with Ben about how important Caila’s heritage is to her and how being with her means becoming a part of that community as well.

The final hometown date in Episode 8 goes to JoJo Fletcher, and there is said to be a shocker on this one. Ben will meet up with JoJo in Dallas, Texas, and the two are stunned when her ex-boyfriend shows up to see her. Once the drama over that incident subsides, Bachelor spoilers tease that JoJo’s brothers will be sharing their doubts about their sister’s decision to do the show.

Some Bachelor fans might find this to be an interesting decision on the part of JoJo’s brothers, considering that one of them had their own reality TV journey looking for love. JoJo’s brother Ben Patton was one of the guys on NBC’s Ready for Love back in 2013. He was with Angela Zatopek at the end of the show, but the relationship didn’t last long. Could it be that Patton’s own failed journey to find lasting love on television has led him to be overprotective of his sister as she gives it a shot herself?
