Troubled Disney Star Orlando Brown Arrested For Domestic Dispute

Troubled Disney star Orlando Brown is once again in trouble with the law. According to TMZ, the That’s So Raven star, who got his start on the hit ABC sitcom Family Matters, was arrested for a domestic dispute.

According to the report, Brown was brought into a police station in the midst of arguing with his girlfriend. During the dispute, Brown struck his girlfriend in a police parking lot. The child star was also found with meth in his possession.

A source told TMZ that the incident happened back in January in Torrance, California. Someone who was using the ATM at the time of the dispute spotted the actor in the police parking lot. The witness decided to call the cops after witnessing the heated argument, and the cops were only steps away, seeing as the whole incident happened in a police parking lot. Most are pointing out that this is a very strange coincidence.

When the cops arrived at the scene, Orlando Brown initially refused to leave his car. It wasn’t discovered that he had meth on him until after the cops took the actor to jail. As for his girlfriend, it’s said that she wasn’t seriously injured during the dispute.

Brown was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery, “drug possession with intent to sell,” contraband in jail and obstruction of justice.

This isn’t the first time Orlando Brown has been in trouble with the law. In 2014, he made a death threat against a woman, her daughter, and her mother.

An audio tape surfaced of the actor saying, “I’ll kill you, your mama, your daughter, everybody.”

Although Brown’s rep had insisted that Orlando wasn’t the person in the audio tape, authorities disagreed. At the time, the actor said that the woman was stalking him. In the end, he struck a plea deal.

As the Inquisitr reported, back in 2013, the actor was sentenced to 180 days in prison for a DUI that stemmed from 2011. He was ordered to prison because Brown failed to prove that he had finished court-ordered alcohol education classes. And although Brown was ordered to serve 180 days in prison, in reality, he didn’t serve his full sentence and was released earlier.

Prior to that incident, he was arrested for violating his probation in 2012. Before that, the actor went missing in 2008. Lastly, in 2007, Brown was arrested for possession of marijuana.

The last we heard from Orlando Brown was during a reunion of the That’s So Raven cast, which took place on The View. The star of the Disney show, Raven-Symone, is one of the co-hosts on the daytime talk show.

While on The View, Brown said about his time on That’s So Raven, “[The] chemistry was amazing. We weren’t just talking to ourselves all the time. We were talking to family. It turned into something that was very epic.”

The actor, who made a brief appearance in this year’s Straight Outta Compton, said of the opportunity, “It’s very cool to be a part of history. They have me with the herbal cigarette. It was water in the 40 oz bottle. It was very awesome to be part of that.”

As for his social media presence, the actor is still plugging his different projects on Twitter, so his recent troubles with the law aren’t affecting him professionally. Hopefully, this is the last we hear about Orlando’s legal troubles with the law.
