‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22 Rumors — Scott Disick Wants Historic Payday, Plus Which ‘Fuller House’ Star May Join?

Scott Disick has plans to join Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars, only there’s a slight catch to his appearance. If having an opportunity to dance with some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities isn’t enough motivation, Disick apparently wants to be paid handsomely for his involvement on the show. Will producers pay him to be a part of the hit dancing competition?

According to TMZ, Disick has expressed a desire to be a part of the series if he is paid at least $500,000. Although producers have tried to get Disick in the past, his request for half a million dollars might put him out of reach.

After all, Dancing With the Stars has a history of paying each competitor the same amount of money for their work. However, producers are apparently willing to dish out $125,000 just for Disick to be a part of the next season. If he manages to make it all the to the final round, then producers will give him $345,000.

Unfortunately for Disick fans, he doesn’t seem likely to go down on his price, while producers are also at their limit. Until one of the parties decides to up their game, it doesn’t appear as though Disick will be a part of the upcoming season.

If Disick manages to broker a deal, Fashion & Style is reporting that he won’t be the first Kardashian family member to compete in the contest. Back in 2008, Kim Kardashian made an appearance on the show, only to be eliminated after two weeks. For his part, Rob Kardashian managed to take home second place in 2011.

Meanwhile, E! Online is reporting that one cast member from Fuller House might be making her way to the 22nd season of Dancing With the Stars. Although she has yet to confirm her involvement on the show, Jodi Sweetin recently told the outlet that she would enjoy dancing in the competition.

“You know the rumor has been tossed around now for a couple of seasons, we had Maks [Chmerkovskiy] and Val [Chmerkovskiy] on Fuller House and it seems ever since then people have been like, ‘She’s doing the show!’ It’s a huge compliment… I love to dance and I think it would be really fun.”

At the same time, Sweetin’s older sister on the show, Candace Cameron-Bure, has also expressed her excitement in being a part of Dancing With the Stars. In fact, Bure has a few dancing scenes with the Chmerkovskiys. Does this mean she’s ready to take her talents to the next level?

“I am so ready, I am more than ready,” Bure revealed. “I am just there. I will try not to take over for her because I might nudge myself back onto that dance floor.”

In addition to Disick, Sweetin, and Bure, there are a number of different celebrities that are rumored to be involved in the new season. According to the Examiner, this includes the likes of Ben Higgins from The Bachelor. If true, Higgins would join three other Bachelor stars to have participated on the show, including Chris Soules, Sean Lowe, and Jake Pavelka.

Rounding out the list of rumored contestants includes NFL stars Mike Tolbert and Rashad Jennings, Olympian Dominique Moceanu, and Orange Is the New Black’s Taryn Manning (Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett).

The official cast for the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars has yet to officially be confirmed. While everyone waits more casting news, Fuller House is set to air on Netflix on February 26.

Season 22 of Dancing With the Stars is scheduled to air March 21 on ABC.
