Cougar Life Billboard Over L.A.’s Sunset Boulevard Advertises Dating Site For MILF-Lovers
A giant billboard over Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles is reportedly causing traffic slow-downs as people either ogle or shake their heads in disgust over the advertisement for CougarLife.com.
The Huffington Post reports that the giant risqué billboard, which was first put up Monday, features a sexy blonde woman holding a cocktail, lounging by the words, “CougarLife.com … for Mother F*ckers.” The company’s website describes itself as, “the premier online dating service that pairs women in their prime with younger men and ends the double standard!”
According to Patch.com, Elissa Buchter, who is both a spokeswoman for Cougar Life and a cougar himself, has stated that the billboard is just the first of many the company plans to put up in both Hollywood and West Hollywood.
They are specifically targeting the area, because it is considered the national “cougar capital,” and also because there are more Cougar Life members in the 90069 zip code than anywhere else in the U.S..
Buchter also addressed the controversial term, “mother f*ckers,” saying, “The majority of cougars are single moms. And we thought it’d be a good way to get their attention and make a splash.”
And it seems that they have, since the billboard has been posted and reposted on websites, as well as comments from twitter users that say have differing opinions about the billboard.

The Cougar Life website explains that a cougar is a woman at least 35-years-old, who is either seeking or involved with a man at least five years younger than her. Buchter explains, according to The Huffington Post, that the relationship works well for both partners, because, “they’re both at their sexual peak. Older women are a lot more confident, more willing to explore, and in touch with their sexuality.”
