Eric Devin Masters: Michigan Man Rapes Toddler And Records Encounter To Share With Friends On The Internet
Michigan man Eric Devin Masters is accused of raping a toddler inside a hotel room and recording the sexual assault to share online with his friends.
Eric Devin Masters is a former member of the United States Coast Guard. He was convicted of making “sexually-explicit” videos of children and raping a toddler. Masters pleaded guilty to the crime and admitted to the accusation that he filmed the incidents to post online.

The convicted child molesters was charged with three first degree counts of criminal sexual conduct. The 29-year-old man is from Grand Rapids. After the recent Kent County Circuit Court hearing, Eric Masters was transported by to prison where he was already serving a 50-year sentence for another charge related to the sexual exploitation of children.
Masters was given the 50-year prison sentence last year after he was convicted of using three little girls ranging in age from 18 months to 12 years, in child pornography videos.

When Michigan police detectives were investigating the child sexual exploitation case, they discovered that Masters had raped an 18-month-old toddler on Christmas Day five years ago. The video of the heartwrenching crime was unearthed during a search related to the ongoing investigation, according to the Detroit Free Press.
But when investigators started to probe the case, they learned that Masters had raped an 18-month-old girl on Christmas Day in 2011 and recorded it on video.
The video of the rape of the toddler by the Michigan man reportedly showed Masters forcing the child to engage in sex acts multiple times while the girl was tied to a bed. Typically, babies do not learn to walk until they are 12-months-old, and at 18 months, like the extremely young rape victim, the toddlers are often still wearing diapers and only speaking a few words.
When King County Judge Mark Trusock read the five child molestation related charges pending against Masters, he asked if the facts of each assault for which a guilty plea was entered were true, the accused answered simply, “yes sir.”
According to testimony by FBI investigators, Eric Devin Masters molested a total of five girls in multiple counties in the states over the course of five years, WZZM Channel 13 News reports. During the guilty plea hearing, Masters claimed that he was “feeding his addiction” to child pornography and could not stop himself.
Eric’s older brother, Timothy Matthew Masters, 32, was sent to prison for 27 years on similar charges in 2015. The elder Masters reportedly sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl and then sent an email with a photo attached to his brother to brag about the incident.
“Good night last night,” the subject heading of the email sent in 2013, read. The attached photo was a pornographic image of the child taken as she slept.
U.S. District Judge Robert Holmes Bell said the Eric Masters child molestation case was the worst case he had ever had come across his bend. A total of 21 child pornography videos were found on Masters’ computer. Although he was sentenced to spend 50 years in prison on the charges, that is the minimum amount of time he will spend behind bars, the judge can order him kept in a cell for the rest of his life.
“I am stunned by you lack of understanding of yourself and why you did what you did,” Judge Bell said to Eric Masters at the sentencing hearing.
