Inside Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s ‘No Expense Spared’ New Mansion

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are upping sticks and moving into a new multi-million dollar home where “money is no object,” according to People.

The site is reporting that Kim and Kanye are currently in the process of renovating their newest home — which is allegedly situated in Hidden Hills, California — but they certainly aren’t pinching the pennies after Kanye West alleged on Twitter that he was $53 million in debt.

“They both make a ton of money but they also spend a ton. And they are sparing no expense with their new house,” an insider close to the Kardashian family revealed to People earlier this week, confessing that Kim and Kanye’s new investment will be made up of some of the most luxurious home features money can buy.

The source revealed to the site that Kardashian and West’s home will feature light fixtures costing upwards of $20,000 as well as “the perfect flooring,” all of which it’s assumed are all being given the okay by Kardashian. “The costs have been endless,” the source admitted of the new investment.

But while Kim and Kanye appear to spending millions on their newest home for themselves and their two children, North and Saint West, People is revealing that the couple’s other home, an $11 million Bel-Air mansion, has yet to be sold.

“It was a huge mistake,” a source told People of the house, who also confirmed that Kardashian and her husband never actually lived in the California mansion. “Both Kim and Kanye were really disappointed in how that turned out.”

The news that Kim and Kanye are looking to set up home in Hidden Hills appears to confirm that the couple, who married in 2014, are still going strong following claims that Kanye’s recent bizarre Twitter rants were causing “friction” between him and Kardashian.

Speaking to People, a source close to Kardashian and her husband revealed that Kim was less than impressed by West’s social media behaviour – which, in part, saw him ask Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion, claim he was the next Walt Disney and refuse to attend the Grammy awards unless he was awarded Album of the Year – in recent weeks.

“What causes friction in the marriage is Kanye’s compulsive tweeting,” an insider confessed to People, adding that “Kim can’t stand” West’s bizarre Twitter rants. “[Kim] is all for self-promotion, but doesn’t approve of Twitter drama,” the source said.

But while Kardashian undoubtedly has a number of eyebrow raising tweets to choose from in recent weeks, the source confirmed to People that it was Kanye West’s recent social media drama with Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa that really angered her.

“Kim is a mom and wants to be a role model. She doesn’t want to be involved in ridiculous drama,” the insider told People, adding that Kardashian “was very mad about Kanye’s Amber Rose drama.”

But it looks like Kanye and Kim’s social media friction isn’t stopping the twosome from spending quality time together, as Kardashian took to Instagram on February 14 to confirm that the couple were enjoying a romantic Valentine’s Day together.

“My Valentine,” Kim Kardashian captioned a photo of the two on the most romantic day of the year, just days after she used the photo sharing site to post a snap of herself ready to plant a kiss on West’s dressing room door plaque.

“Dressing room diaries, Kim captioned the photo earlier this week, adding the hashtag “#SaturdayNightLive.”
