Kaley Cuoco Spotted With Sam Hunt — 4 Other Hollywood/Country Hook-Ups

Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco was just spotted getting pretty close to country star Sam Hunt.

E! News spotted the possible couple together at a Grammy after-party on February 15, where an eyewitness revealed that Cuoco and Hunt had some “playful and flirty chemistry” as they left a Republic Records party together.

“Kaley Cuoco was really happy, you can see it,” an eyewitness who saw Kaley and Sam leaving Hyde nightclub in Hollywood revealed to E! News. “It looked like they completely hit it off and were trying to downplay the flirtation as friendship but it was pretty undeniable. Kaley kept talking to him with her hand over her mouth.”

TMZ also spotted Kaley and Sam leaving the Hollywood hotspot and revealed that Cuoco and Hunt “hung out in the VIP section at the Republic Records party before making their exit” before leaving the event in separate cars.

Kaley Cuoco and Sam Hunt haven’t kept their single statuses a secret over the past few months, with Hunt most recently telling Billboard magazine in August, “I’m single.”

Hunt also got candid about his gentlemanly habits when speaking with the music magazine, where he confessed that he was brought up to respect women.

“Respect for women was a very important part of my upbringing,” Sam Hunt told the magazine last year, “The women in my life demanded that from me.”

Cuoco has also been enjoying the single life over the past few months following her September 2015 divorce from her former husband, Ryan Sweeting.

Kaley’s sister, Briana Cuoco, recently opened up about her sister’s divorce to Entertainment Tonight, where she confessed that Kaley was “so happy” following her split.

“She’s good, she’s so happy,” Cuoco told the site of Kaley, adding that her sister has “never been better.”

Cuoco also revealed to the site the qualities a man hoping to date her sister must have, and it sounds like Sam Hunt may just be the perfect fit.

“She has a really great sense of humor so someone who makes her laugh and makes her feel comfortable and confident in what she’s made for herself in her life,” Briana Cuoco told Entertainment Tonight, adding that the man Kaley falls for must not be “a jerk.”

But while Kaley Cuoco and Sam Hunt are so far keeping tight-lipped when it comes to their possible romance, this isn’t the first time one of Hollywood’s biggest names has enjoyed a romance with a country star.

Back in 2008, Carrie Underwood, who Cuoco’s rumored love duetted with on the Grammy stage before he hit the after-party with the Big Bang Theory star, was spotted on several dates with Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford. Underwood and Crawford dated for several months before Carrie revealed that the two had split to People in April 2008.

“We’ve parted ways,” Underwood revealed at the time, “I actually haven’t spoken to him in over a month.”

Renee Zellweger also tried her luck with a country singer prior to Kaley Cuoco’s alleged new romance. Zellweger famously married “You & Tequila” singer Kenny Chesney in a surprise ceremony in 2005, although USA Today confirmed that the couple filed for divorce just four months later.

But should Kaley Cuoco and Sam Hunt find themselves in a romantic relationship, it’s not always doomed to failure when a Hollywood star gets together with a country musician.

Country superstar and American Idol judge Keith Urban married actress Nicole Kidman in 2006, and the couple are still going strong with two children. “This Is Country Music” singer Brad Paisley is also boasting a successful Hollywood romance as the star has been married to Father of the Bride actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley for 13 years.
