Taylor Swift: Police Called To Singer’s Home, Two Threatening Males Trespassing Over Two Weeks

It’s a known fact that Taylor Swift is fantastic to her fans and reaches out in ways that other musical artists would never think to. The “Blank Space” star has even been known to invite fans to her home for her CD release parties in the past. However, Swift’s generosity has brought around unwanted attention to the singer’s home.

Taylor was made nervous by the presence of an unwanted visitor at the front of her home and even took the step to call authorities to alleviate her worries. E! News reports the matter that involved a suspicious male showing up to the home of Swift.

“A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department tells E! News they received a call Saturday around 12:30 p.m. about a suspicious person outside Swift’s home. Police showed up and found the man outside the front of the singer’s home. Per the BHPD, they spoke with the man and he left. There were no arrests made and no citations given.”

As has been reported initially by TMZ that the man had a musical purpose for being outside the singer’s home. His intentions were to benefit his own singing career, yet the manner he chose to go about gaining Swift’s approval was all wrong.

“A musician showed up at Taylor Swift’s front gate in hopes of pitching her some song ideas, and refused to leave her front gate… until cops were called. Security spotted the guy loitering outside Taylor’s Beverly Hills home Saturday afternoon. When they approached, we’re told he claimed he knew Taylor and they’d worked together in the past.”

The security team reportedly did not buy it, and the cops arrived to escort the young man off the premises. The man apparently bolted once the cops had words with him.

This isn’t the first time Taylor Swift has been visited by some unwanted company at her home. A different man was taken away by force, as the celebrity news site shares.

“Less than 2 weeks ago cops cuffed and carted away a different man at one of Taylor’s other homes.”

As noted by TMZ, the cops were called to the beauty’s home two weeks ago in the mid- afternoon when a suspicious man was seen wandering at the foot of her drive. LAPD authorities cuffed the man and took him into custody at around 4 p.m. that same day. The call about the suspicious male to authorities came by way of a concerned neighbor of Swift’s, who says the man was “lurking around Taylor Swift’s house.”

The man was reportedly taken for assessment and evaluation and has not been charged with a crime at this point. The site shares additional details of the arrest.

“TMZ obtained shots of the man getting cuffed and placed in a police car. He didn’t put up a fight and showed no outward signs of violent behavior. It’s unclear if Taylor was home at the time.”

What is clear over the past 24 hours is that Taylor Swift has enjoyed some much-deserved celebrating after being awarded a Grammy at last night’s awards show. The star looked divine in her two piece selection of ensemble and sparkled while she gave her inspiring acceptance speech after winning Album of the Year. Surely all of the lurking males and the drama created from the separate events were forgotten when she got that trophy in her grasp.

USA Today relays Swift’s words to her fans, which were in part clearly meant for Kanye West after the rapper has attempted to dampen the singer’s spirits in the wake of her successes.

“As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there: there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know it was you and the people who love you who put you there and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
