Lamar Odom’s Home Gets Decorated By A ‘Real Housewives’ Star?

Lamar Odom’s wife, Khloe Kardashian, recently rented him a home in Calabasas, California, near where she and her family reside, and now, it’s time to decorate. On February 16, TMZ released a report, which revealed the new home of Lamar Odom was being decorated by his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, and her longtime friend, Faye Resnick.

On Valentine’s Day, Jenner and Resnick, who often appears alongside Kyle Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, were spotted at the HD Buttercup furniture warehouse in Culver City, where they reportedly spent over four hours picking out furniture for Lamar Odom’s home — which Khloe reportedly bought.

Lamar Odom has been living at his rented Los Angeles home for about one month, following his release from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California, where the former professional athlete had been since October of last year. Over two years after splitting from Khloe, Lamar Odom suffered a drug overdose during a visit to a brothel in Las Vegas, and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he remained in a coma for three days. Once he was awake, Lamar Odom was taken to L.A. with Khloe by his side, and ever since, she’s been doing what she can to support his recovery.

“[Lamar Odom] was in very, very bad shape. Both physically and cognitively,” a source told People Magazine last week of his post-overdose state. “There is only that much help that someone can receive. In Lamar’s case, it’s very much his own physical strength and all of his hard work in therapy that has paid off. He also has the mind set of a professional athlete. He never once gave up.”

After leaving the hospital last month, Lamar Odom has been seen out and about in Los Angeles, and earlier this month, he went on a hike with Khloe and her sister, Kim Kardashian. Because his prognosis was bleak at the time of his overdose, the strides he’s made in his recovery have been deemed remarkable, and as time goes on, he’s only gotten better.

Last week, Lamar Odom shocked the audience of Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, when he walked to his seat with West at his side. Although Lamar Odom had been seen driving around Los Angeles weeks prior, the outing marked his first public appearance since his overdose. According to the magazine source, the trip to New York City was a major milestone in Lamar Odom’s recovery, and one that his family was very cautious about.

“For Lamar, it’s very important that he keeps regaining his old life. This will motivate him so he is able to keep focusing and work hard. Think of it as a reward. Flying on private jets across the country was his life before,” People Magazine‘s source explained. “Khloé is nothing but protective of [Lamar Odom]. She would never jeopardize his health. It’s very exciting that Lamar is getting back into his old world. No one deserves it more.”

During the currently airing season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Lamar Odom’s overdose was recently addressed. However, rather than film the moments after his health crisis, production was halted for weeks as the family tended to Lamar Odom’s needs.
