Lacy Faddoul And Marcus Grodd Congratulate Jade Roper And Tanner Tolbert And Laugh About ‘Bachelor At 20’ Cameos

Are Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd, who got engaged on Season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise and married on the second season, still together? Sunday night’s airing of The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love celebrated the franchise’s successful couples by showing clips of their courtships and weddings and providing updates on their current lives. Noticeably, the special didn’t include Lacy and Marcus’ wedding, nor did it give an update on what their lives are like now. Also, neither Lacy and Marcus attended Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding, which had a lot of the franchise’s alums in attendance and was shown in the latter half of the special.

Lacy watched the special on Sunday night. She congratulated the show on its many seasons of helping couples find love. Marcus re-tweeted Lacy’s tweet.

No matter what is going on with their marriage, it seems that Lacy and Marcus are at least in friendly communication with one another. While the special didn’t show clips of Lacy and Marcus’ courtship and their wedding, it did show a clip of Marcus’ reaction upon being rejected by Andi Dorfman on The Bachelorette, and Lacy’s audition tape for Juan Pablo Galavis’ season of The Bachelor. In her audition tape, Lacy said that she’s tired of frogs and that she’s ready to find her prince. Lacy quoted herself and tweeted it to Marcus.

Marcus laughed in response to Lacy’s tweet and added the crown emoji.

Lacy congratulated Jade and Tanner on their wedding, as did Marcus.

Lacy also tweeted about how much she misses her Bachelor family, specifically Michelle Money and Clare Crawley. Lacy grew close to Money and Clare on Season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise. Both Michelle and Clare attended Jade and Tanner’s wedding, which took place in Dana Point, California, about a month ago. Michele and Clare were shown joking that they were the old ladies at the wedding.

Lacy Faddoul did not explain why she wasn’t at the wedding. So far, Lacy has also not answered the many questions that fans have recently left on her tweets and Instagram posts regarding her marriage to Marcus Grodd. Many people have left comments speculating that she and Marcus are no longer together. Yet there have also been people who point out that just because Marcus and Lacy have not posted photos of one another in months doesn’t mean that they’re no longer together. They also point out that Marcus is currently training for the Coast Guard, so he’s away from Lacy.

Two weeks ago, Marcus promoted Lacy’s perfume as a gift for Valentine’s.

Fueling the are they or aren’t they speculation, Lacy posted a photo of herself drinking a martini in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The photo doesn’t show Marcus, and Lacy didn’t say whether he was with her.

On Season 1 of Bachelor in Paradise, Lacy and Marcus became a couple early on and stayed together for the entirety of the show. The season actually culminated in Lacy and Marcus’ engagement. The premiere of Season 2, which aired in August, 2015, showed Lacy and Marcus getting married on the beach in Mexico in front of the Season 2 cast, which included Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert. Also in attendance were some family members and personal friends. Host Chris Harrison officiated Lacy and Marcus’ wedding.

Yet days after the wedding aired, TMZ reported that Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd’s wedding wasn’t actually legally binding, since they didn’t get a marriage license in either the U.S. or Mexico. Perhaps that is why The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love didn’t show their wedding?
