Blake Shelton Reacts To Gwen Stefani’s ‘Make Me Like You’

Blake Shelton’s girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, debuted her live music video for “Make Me Like You,” the latest single off her new album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, during last night’s Grammy Awards. A short time later, he was spotted with a piece of memorabilia from the set.

On February 16, a member of the production team for “Make Me Like You” posted a photo of Blake Shelton on her Instagram, account, and in the photo, he was seen holding a neon sign, which read, “Blake’s.”

During Stefani’s music video, she was heard singing the lyrics of “Make Me Like You,” which she reportedly wrote about Blake Shelton.

“I was fine before I met you / I was broken but fine / I was lost and uncertain / But my heart was still mine,” she sang, via E! News on February 16. “I was free before I met you / I was broken but free / All alone in the clear view / But now you are all I see / Hey, wait a minute / No, you can’t do this to me / Hey, wait a minute / No, that’s not fair / Hey, wait a minute / You’re running back to me / I really like you, but I’m so scared / Why’d you have to go and make me like you? / Yeah this is a feeling I’m not used to / Why’d you have to go and make me like you? I’m so mad at you ’cause now you got me missing you.”

Prior to her relationship with Blake Shelton, Stefani was involved in what has been reported as a messy split, which was prompted by her soon-to-be ex-husband Gavin Rossdale’s alleged three-year affair with their former nanny, Mindy Mann. In November, days after she and Blake Shelton went public, Us Weekly reported news of Rossdale’s rumored cheating, claiming Stefani learned of the alleged affair in February of last year.

While Stefani and Rossdale never spoke publicly of the alleged feud, her song seems to touch on the subject, as did her previous single, “Used To Love You.”

As she walked and danced around while filming the live video, Gwen Stefani was sure to include a number of Blake Shelton-inspired items in the scene. In addition the “Blake’s” sign, which is now in possession of Blake Shelton, Stefani was also seen reading a magazine featuring a headline about her alleged pregnancy, which has been a hot topic in the media for months.

Blake Shelton also responded to the new song on Twitter.

“You can probably understand the multiple reasons why I just bought this… I hope you do to!!! @gwenstefani,” Blake Shelton tweeted last week.

Since they began dating, Blake Shelton and Stefani have been targeted with a number of rumors, namely pregnancy rumors, which made her music video all the more relevant to their relationship. However, that being said, neither party has officially confirmed the nature of the video. Instead, they continue to play coy about Gwen Stefani’s romance as they dodge the ongoing rumors regarding their relationship.

In one of the latest rumors regarding Blake Shelton’s romance with his Voice co-star, the Hollywood Take mentioned Stefani’s potential pregnancy, claiming Blake Shelton had joked about the issue on Twitter.

Blake Shelton has also laughed off the rumors regarding his alleged wedding to Stefani, pointing out that there have also been claims that their nuptials have been called off.
