Bella Hadid And The Weeknd Hit The Grammys Red Carpet For The First Time As A Couple
A number of celebrity couples attended the 58th Grammy Awards on Monday night, including John Legend and pregnant wife Chrissy Teigen, Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama, and Nick and Vanessa Lachey, but one pair who stood out was the stunning 19-year-old Bella Hadid, sister of supermodel Gigi Hadid, and her beau, The Weeknd.
Bella Hadid wore a black low-cut gown with sparkles, which perfectly matched The Weeknd’s black suit with a matching bow tie.
According to reports, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, started dating in May last year, but they managed to keep their relationship under wraps. The relationship started when The Weeknd asked Hadid to be in the art of his album.
Bella and The Weeknd were spotted in October last year on Bella’s birthday, holding hands in New York city after spending lunch with Bella’s family including mom Yolanda Foster, brother Anwar, and sister Gigi. However, as E Online reports, the two have never stepped out on the red carpet together — until now.
The Weeknd was all smiles on the red carpet, stopping to pose for the flashing cameras while holding Bella Hadid close to him. Bella even gave The Weeknd a smooch on the cheek.
Late last year, there were rumors swirling about Bella Hadid and The Weeknd’s breakup, as The Inquisitr reported, due to their busy schedules. The Weeknd was busy with his music career, and likewise, Bella flew to different parts of the world for her modelling gigs. However, that rumor can be put to rest now that they have made their official red carpet appearance as a couple.
On her Instagram account, Bella Hadid showed how proud she is of her beau by posting a picture of them on red carpet, with The Weeknd’s hand on her waist. She also called him “baby.”
Fashionista reported that Bella Hadid was absent from New York Fashion Week events on Monday, as she flew to Los Angeles to show support for The Weeknd, who was nominated for seven categories at this year’s Grammys. Out of the seven nominations, The Weeknd bagged two awards, one for Best R&B Performance for his song “Earned It,” which is included in the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, and the other award is for Best Urban Contemporary Album for Beauty Behind The Madness.

It seems that Bella Hadid and The Weeknd’s relationship just keeps on getting stronger. As a matter of fact, Bella was featured in his music video for the song “In the Night,” an 80s-themed video that looks like a short movie, complete with guns, blood, and the beautiful Bella Hadid. According to an insider who spilled information to E Online about Bella and The Weeknd, the two are very much together. “They have many things in common and really enjoyed each other’s company. She love his music as well. They are hanging out for sure now,” said the source.
