Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Canoodle At Valentine Grammy Party: Lovebirds Parade PDA, But Did He Propose? [Photos]

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton aren’t trying to hide the sweet reality that their romance is getting increasingly steamy. And on Valentine’s Day, Blake gave into temptation as the two attended a pre-Grammy party. Shelton happily paraded the PDA throughout the event, reported E! News.

The two lovebirds attended Clive Davis and The Recording Academy’s legendary pre-Grammys Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Avoiding the red carpet, Blake and Stefani began their Valentine’s Day evening by slipping through a private entryway to join a table with other celebrities, including Jane Fonda and Richard Branson.

But when you’re in love, do you want to whisper in your sweetheart’s ear or hob-nob with celebrities? Shelton made his preference clear by immediately enclosing his girlfriend in his arms to hold her close almost the instant that they seated themselves.

Blake did have to take a break from the PDA at one point, but it was only so that Shelton and Gwen could join a different table at which a familiar face presided. Christina Aguilera, who also is a coach on The Voice, and her fiance, Matthew Rutler, were already sitting there.

Once they were re-seated, however, Blake quickly put his arms around his pop star princess once again. Shelton seemed to find Stefani too hot to resist, and it might have been that short red frock that was the ideal choice for her Valentine’s Day date with Blake.

From exchanging kisses throughout the evening to dancing, the two were inseparable. Among the dances that Shelton enjoyed with his sweetheart were “You’re So Vain” from Carly Simon and an Earth, Wind & Fire number.

And just as they had successfully entered without going through the red carpet gauntlet of media, Blake and Gwen exited privately by heading out the backstage, deciding to end their enchanted evening together before midnight.

Others at the celebrity event included Caitlyn Jenner, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Matthew Morrison, Ringo Starr, Fashion Police’s Melissa Rivers, Adam Lambert, Meghan Trainor, Ciara, Russell Wilson, Courtney Love, Lana Del Ray, Juliette Lewis, Sylvester Stallone, Michael Keaton, James Bay, Keke Palmer, and Janelle Monáe.

In addition to Shelton and Stefani, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger were a couple who turned heads. Although they revealed in September that they were breaking up, Avril and Chad made their appearance on the red carpet as a couple. They did not sport wedding rings, but did stay together for picture time.

However, The Voice coaches were the couple who attracted the most attention for their canoodling, reported Today.

Blake, 39, and his 46-year-old girlfriend seemed to have no fear of having their cuddling immortalized in pictures. With Gwen perched on his lap, Shelton matched his pop star sweetheart for bright smiles.

Stefani’s hairstyle seemed to take a cue from Marilyn Monroe, while her shoes apparently went missing at some point in the evening. But with Blake sweetly whispering in her ear, what do shoes matter?

Shelton has provided Gwen with joy since the heartbreak that she experienced when she learned that her now-ex husband Gavin Rossdale had been cheating on her with the family nanny for years, reported the Daily Mail.

However, some alleged that one reason Miranda Lambert and Shelton divorced was that Miranda was unfaithful to Blake. But as the Inquisitr reported, there were a wide range of reasons reported as to why Shelton and Lambert split.

Among them, for example, were the changes in their priorities. While Blake loves to party and drink the night away, Miranda increasingly wanted to stay at home. Moreover, she cut down on her drinking to help with her weight loss success.

But despite the painful divorces that both Voice coaches experienced, rumors recently swirled that Shelton was planning to propose on Valentine’s Day. A source told Hollywood Life that Blake even considered choosing February 14 for his proposal.

Shelton decided to hold off, however, in order to plan something really unique, added the source.

“Blake wants to make it perfect and make the day special,” revealed the insider. “He thought that he would propose on Valentine’s Day but then talked himself out of it because he thought it would be too cheesy and obvious to do it on that day.”

Instead, Shelton plans to wait and choose a significant day, according to that insider. When might that be? The source hinted that Blake may choose his birthday.

“He’s thinking of pulling the trigger on their engagement in the summer around his birthday. It’s definitely on his mind a lot.” added the insider.
