‘Kocktails With Khloe’ Huge For FYI Network, Khloe Kardashian Not Happy With Contract
Kocktails with Khloe has been huge for the FYI network. Several other shows on the network do well, but this one has broken records and brought in plenty more viewers. Khloe Kardashian is the star of the show, and she hosts guests to talk about anything and everything. Kocktails with Khloe has only aired a handful of episodes, but fans are already tuning in every Wednesday night. The viewership has steadily increased, and FYI ordered several more episodes to be made. Right now, the count for the first season is in the double digits, which is amazing for a show that is brand new.
Khloe Kardashian is reportedly getting upset with the network over Kocktails with Khloe. She wants to be completely separated from her family, but FYI wants the Kardashians to keep appearing. It is causing a huge uproar on set. According to Radar Online, Kocktails with Khloe could be canceled if things aren’t smoothed over quickly. Kardashian believes that nearly $2 million isn’t enough for pay. She knows she is worth more and could easily take Kocktails with Khloe down with her. FYI will likely give Khloe Kardashian what she wants to avoid losing the ratings she garnered for them.
It isn’t surprising the FYI network wants to cash in on the Kardashian fame with Kocktails with Khloe. Their brand is popular, and their following as a family is huge. While having members of the Kardashian or Jenner clan on the show all the time would be a bit much, the other trainwreck guests are also pulling in the views. Kocktails with Khloe welcomed Brandi Glanville on the series premiere, and Tori Spelling most recently. They play games in various segments, and the social media wars seem to garner a lot of attention. Farrah Abraham was brought up in an episode, and she responded via social media. Khloe is doing well for herself and the network right now, it would be a shame to let things go because of contract disputes.
The reports of diva behavior on the set of Kocktails with Khloe aren’t shocking. Khloe Kardashian has finally gotten a taste of fame on her own. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Kocktails with Khloe has gone to Kardashian’s head. With the immediate success of the show and the record amount of viewers being brought to the network, Kardashian is demanding more stake in the company. She wants a hefty pay raise. Also, Kocktails with Khloe has guidelines that Kardashian wants changed. Khloe feels like she should be the standout star of the show and have more say in what happens each and every time.
Since launching the FYI network, there haven’t been many standout shows. Kocktails with Khloe has put the network on the map and garnered the most interest. Married at First Sight was doing well for FYI, but there is no competition with Kocktails with Khloe. Now that Khloe Kardashian is aware of the power she holds, there is plenty at stake for the network. If they don’t agree with her and up the pay, she could walk away.
The fact that more episodes of Kocktails with Khloe were ordered is a good sign. Usually, FYI waits for a conclusive ratings report before jumping head first into something. Fans have been tuning in Wednesday nights to watch Khloe Kardashian do her thing, especially when people like Tori Spelling are on the list. As everyone waits to find out what the network is going to do to entice Khloe Kardashian to stick it out with Kocktails with Khloe, they will continue to support Kardashian and the show for the duration it is on.
