Maci Bookout To Be Mom To Three, Reveals She Found Out Right After Engagement
Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout announced she’s expecting her second child with fiance Taylor McKinney, making her a mother of three. The couple have an eight-month-old daughter together named Jayde Carter. Bookout also has a seven-year-old son named Bentley with her ex, Ryan Edwards.
Bookout took to Instagram on Valentine’s Day to share the news that she and McKinney are expecting a boy with a sweet photo of the couple cradling Maci’s baby bump.
“#Makingmoremoneys baby boy coming soon! Happy valentine’s day! @tmon3yyy #lastbutnotleast” Maci captioned her Instagram photo. Us Weekly reports Bookout calls her fiance “T Money.”

Though she’s ecstatic at the news, Bookout revealed to MTV her pregnancy was “not expected.”
“I found out I was pregnant with baby number three right after we got engaged. It was not expected or a planned pregnancy.”
Maci is due on May 30, and as MTV reports, could possibly have Irish twins. Maci’s daughter, Jayde Carter, was born on May 29, and Bookout had both of her children early. Could she have her baby boy early as well? How is Maci’s third pregnancy faring compared to her other two pregnancies? She’s feeling pretty laid back about it since this isn’t her first rodeo.
Bookout said, “Because it’s the third one, you know what’s going on. You’ve been there, done that a couple times now, so it’s sort of laid back.”
Bookout, 24, and McKinney, 26, have been together for more than three years.

Maci announced her engagement to McKinney on January 19, writing, “Well y’all, my best friend asked me to marry him! I’m one lucky lady, I love you T!”
According to the Daily Mail, Taylor seemingly was reluctant to ask Maci to marry him, which was covered on the show, Teen Mom OG.
“It’s so to the point where I’m like, ‘Really, what is the deal?'” Maci said back in December 2015.
However, when McKinney did finally ask Maci to marry him, she said she was shocked because he had managed to pull off a huge surprise.
“I honestly don’t think it has actually ‘hit’ me yet. But I am very excited and feel super blessed that I get to marry Taylor. He’s an amazing man and dad.
When he asked me to marry him, I was in complete shock. I couldn’t believe that it was actually happening, and to be honest, I couldn’t believe that he had pulled it off without me figuring it out…because I usually know everything!”
Maci Bookout first appeared on an episode of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant back in 2009. Fans followed Maci’s story when she continued on Teen Mom, the 16 and Pregnant spin-off. Teen Mom aired for four seasons and wrapped in October 2012.
In February 2015, Teen Mom was revived and renamed Teen Mom OG. In addition to Maci Bookout, the series follows Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood, who also appeared in episodes of 16 and Pregnant.
It’s hard to believe Maci first shared her story of teen pregnancy seven years ago on 16 and Pregnant. Bookout was one of the most popular girls among fans of the show, which is likely why she was one of the girls chosen to continue sharing her story on Teen Mom. She was seen as being one of the more responsible moms in caring for her then-infant son, Bentley.
