Kate Middleton Finally Gains Queen’s Favor

Kate Middleton has been in the public spotlight ever since becoming a royal back in 2011, when she married the future king, Prince William. Middleton has been the subject of much criticism mainly due to her initial apparent “lazy ways” that gained her the reputation as an all image and no substance sort.

However, there is no question that Kate has stepped up her royal work ethic a notch, even though she is now a busy mother to two little ones. The Duchess has been a strong advocate for supporting children’s mental health and has even stepped up to perform the role as online editor for the Huffington Post, UK. Those initiatives aside, it has become common knowledge that Queen Elizabeth, who over the past few years seems to have been slow to warm to Kate’s status as a royal, has now grown to trust the Duchess with royal duties and responsibilities.

Recently, a reliable courtier has shared as to the Queen’s opinion of Middleton, and it is now a very favorable one, as Closer magazine shares.

“Queen Elizabeth is aware that Kate Middleton is enormously popular with the younger crowd in England. It’s time for the older members of the Royal family to bridge the generation gap and Duchess Kate is just the Royal who can do so. Basically, the Royal source revealed, ‘When Kate speaks, people listen. She wants younger viewers in particular to learn more about her work over the best part of 70 years, To be blunt, the queen wants some of Kate’s stardust to rub off on her!’ “

It is for this very reason that Queen Elizabeth has called on Kate to be interviewed in the documentary that will air in April, as the reigning monarch’s 90th birthday approaches. She believes that Middleton is now much more capable to express herself astutely, seeing as the Duchess has been practicing her public speaking and has had much more practice verbally expressing herself at events that she’s attended on her own accord as well as for the royal family.

As the Queen approaches the big celebration for her 9oth birthday, she has reportedly been handing over some of the royal duties to the younger generation within the royal family. Kate has been the recipient of a variety of new titles including the post that had formerly been Prince Phillips as the Cadets’ royal patron. Additionally, Middleton is the face for the royals when it comes to Wimbledon.

The fact that the Duchess is now being trusted as a capable fulfill-er of such duties demonstrates that the Queen has been impressed with Kate’s dedication, not only to the royal family’s endeavors, but to her own choice of charities as well. The publication goes on to share the courtiers words in regards to how the Queen perceives Kate’s mothering skills and more.

“[T]he Duchess of Cambridge has earned Queen Elizabeth’s respect since her 2011 marriage to Prince William. Queen Elizabeth is impressed with how Princess Kate balances Royal responsibilities with motherhood.”

The source also was sure to indicate that it is entirely the Queen’s decision to bring Kate into the fold as she “”thinks Kate is doing a great job as a young mum and is a wonderful wife to William.”

In additional Kate and Will news, the tabloids just keep insisting that the Duke and Duchess are already expecting their next baby, and some have gone so far as to suggest the couple is having twins. However, as the Toronto Star relays, this is simply false. Kate and William are not expecting. With all the appearances and tour dates slated for the young couple, it’s not likely that they are ready to care for another child in addition, just yet.[
