A man has allegedly shot and decapitated his grandparents at an Oklahoma City home day care facility.
According to CNN, the 20-year-old man was arrested Tuesday after investigators discovered the bodies of Sharon Reed, 59, and James Reed, 78.
The investigators discovered the gruesome scene while visiting the home that doubles as a day care center for a routine welfare check.
According to police, the investigators also found three children, who were unharmed, huddled inside an attached garage.

Laster is being held on two counts of first-degree murder for the death his grandparents.
In a court appearance on Thursday, Laster reportedly remained silent as a judge questioned him. The judge assigned a court-appointed attorney to the case. Another hearing will be scheduled at a later date.
A motive for the killings has not been released and few other details are known at this time.
Family members, including Sharon Reed’s sister, Brenda Jackson, are reportedly devastated and say they are stymied over what could have triggered the murder.
“It’s just a shock. He didn’t deserve it, and she didn’t deserve it.”

Jackson told CNN that her grandnephew had been living with his grandparents for about two years after he was kicked out of his mother’s house.
Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Ashley Peters said the children found inside the garage were reunited, unharmed, with their families.
“Luckily, they weren’t injured in any way, shape or form.”
