WWE News: WWE Diva and ‘Total Divas’ Rosa Mendes Gives Birth To Baby Girl
WWE Diva and Total Diva’s Rosa Mendes celebrated the Valentines Day weekend by giving birth to a baby girl. Mendes and fiancee Bobby Schubenski welcomed Jordan Elizabeth Schubenski to the world. Mendes whose real name is Melena Roucka; posted the following on instagram.
Mendes was overjoyed when she talked to E! News about the birth.
“Please welcome Jordan Schubenski to the world… The love we have for her is indescribable. We want to thank our family and friends, and I especially want to thank my WWE family for supporting me from day one. I can’t wait for all of you to meet her in person. She’s so special.”
Little Jordan came into the world measuring 19 inches and weighed in at 6 lbs. 13 oz.

Mendes pregnancy had been documented on the hit E! reality TV series Total Divas. She announced last year on WWE.com that she and Schubenski were expecting their first child. The couple had no problems choosing a name for their baby as they had already were thinking of names before Mendes got pregnant. Mendez explained to E! “So, we didn’t even look up names or have any issues with finding a name. We just fell in love. He said the name, I loved it and that’s how we picked her name. We are just always on the same wavelength.”
Mendes went on to explain how appreciative she was for both her fiancee and the new bundle of joy. “It’s hard to describe in words, but having a life inside of you just makes you want to be better,” she said. “I want to give Jordan the best life possible.”
Mendes joined Total Divas in September 2014 and became a popular mainstay amongst the cast. She had been on the main WWE roster since 2008 when she appeared as former WWE Diva Beth Phoenix’s intern after posing as a fan in the crowd. Mendes would later go on to be featured in the infamous Wrestlemania 25 Diva Battle Royale where she would lose to Santino Marella who was dressed in drag.
Mendes would later switch over to the now defunct ECW brand and would work a program with Zack Ryder where she would constantly interfere in his matches. A few months later, the duo would debut on RAW. Mendes would later go on to manage Primo and Epico and then be later used sporadically, including a program with WWE superstar Fandango.
However, Mendes biggest success came when she was asked to join the cast of WWE’s reality series Total Divas on the E! network. It was there that Mendes would shine on the show due to her outlandish antics, which included walking nude in front of her cast mates and admitting she was bi-sexual. On a later episode, Mendes would try to flirt with WWE Diva Page and even tried to kiss her, thinking that Paige was coming on to her.
In April 2013, Mendes was sent home from a WWE European tour for personal problems, though it would later be revealed on a later episode of Total Divas that Mendes was in rehab for an undisclosed cause.
Mendes announced in August last year that she and fiancee, musician and clothing company owner Bobby Schubenski would be expecting their first child. Mendes later moved to Pittsburgh to be closer to Schubenski’s family. The couple would then get engaged while in Paris in October of last year.
When asked about pregnancy complications, Mendes told E!
“I’m actually one of the lucky ones… I’ve been feeling so good since my first trimester. I have three other friends who are pregnant too and they’ve just been having a really hard time and I feel so bad because I feel so great.”
