Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Fiancé, Shawn Booth, Promotes Condoms For Valentine’s, Kaitlyn Makes Deal To Invite Jade Roper And Tanner Tolbert To Their Wedding

Will Kaitlyn Bristowe be getting chocolates and roses from Shawn Booth on Valentine’s Day? Maybe not. Kaitlyn may instead be getting something that’s a lot more suggestive. On Saturday, Shawn posted a tweet that promoted Durex condoms as an alternative gift for Valentine’s.

Shawn wrote that gifting chocolate and roses for his and Kaitlyn’s first Valentine’s Day together would be “so passé.” He added that Durex condoms might be the way to go.

Shawn attached to his tweet a YouTube link to watch a Durex commercial. The commercial encourages couples to “cut the clichés and give [their] partner something they’ll really want to unwrap and play with.” It shows a couple, wearing underwear, stimulating foreplay and sex.

Since getting engaged on the season finale of The Bachelorette, which aired in late July 2015, Kaitlyn and Shawn have used their social media platforms to promote various companies, products, and causes. Presumably, they get paid quite well for some of their posts. For this Valentine’s Day, they have also helped promote Dunkin’ Donuts.

On Valentine’s Day itself, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth’s fans will get to watch them on TV again when ABC airs the special The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love.

The special will show the franchise’s most memorable moments and contestants over the past 20 seasons. Host Chris Harrison will also talk to viewers’ favorite couples to find out what their lives are like now. The special will even feature a real wedding, that of Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert.

Jade and Tanner met on season 2 of the spin-off Bachelor in Paradise. Jade competed on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, where she came in fourth, behind Kaitlyn, Becca Tilley, and Whitney Bischoff. Kaityn went on to become the next star of The Bachelorette, where she met Tanner. While Jade made it quite far with Chris, Tanner was sent home relatively early on Kaitlyn’s season and wasn’t shown having much of a personal connection with her. In his introduction segment for the spin-off, Tanner poked fun at how early Kaitlyn sent him home by asking if she even knows who he is.

Jade and Tanner became a couple early on during the filming of Bachelor in Paradise. Unlike the other couples, Jade and Tanner didn’t seem to have any problems staying attached and committed to one another. They were shown going on romantic dates and commenting on the drama that the other contestants encountered. On the season finale, which aired in September 2015, Tanner proposed and Jade accepted.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kaitlyn publicly congratulated Tanner and Jade on their engagement after the season finale aired. Tanner in turn thanked Kaitlyn for rejecting him since that set him on the course to meet Jade.

Like their courtship, Jade and Tanner had a very short engagement. They got married on Sunday, January 24, at the St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach in Dana Point, CA. On Saturday, Tanner posted a wedding photo of him kissing Jade.

Tanner also posted a photo of himself and Jade with Shawn and Kaitlyn at the wedding reception. Tanner wrote that Shawn and Kaitlyn will now have to invite him and Jade to their wedding.

Kaitlyn said that it’s a deal.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, posted on Friday, Kaitlyn and Shawn explained why they have not set a wedding date yet.

“We’re so bad at planning, both of us together. So we’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it in the new year!’ We’re the kind of people, I think, that if people tell us to do something or if there’s pressure, we’re like, ‘Well, now we’re gonna wait! We don’t have to do what you say to do, we’re going to take our time!'”

So will Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have a televised wedding like Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert? Kaitlyn said that it’s something that they’re open to doing.

“We thought it would be fun to do one, we don’t rule it out. It’s just, if it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.”
