Alleged Foot Licker Anthony Parri: Obama Is Setting Me Up

Here’s a new conspiracy theory about the incumbent commander in chief that has nothing to do with a birth certificate: A man accused of bizarre behavior in a suburban Rochester, New York, library insists he’s innocent because he is “being set up by President Barack Obama and the city and federal government.”

The New York Daily News explains that “Anthony Parri allegedly took off a child’s shoe and rubbed the girl’s foot against his nose and mouth in one of two incidents Tuesday at Penfield Library, according to reports.” The child’s mom and a library worker both saw what was going on and called 911.

According to London’s Daily Mail, the first incident was not reported to the police immediately:

Investigators did not know about the second incident, which also involved a young girl at the library, until a concerned parent contacted them and said that her daughter had talked about the incident on the way home in the car.

Local police arrested the man, 49, in yesterday’s incident on charges of sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child, and he is being held without bail.

The ABC affiliate, WHAM Channel 13, reports that “This case is similar to five others at bookstores and libraries in Pittsford and Brighton. In each of the incidents, the man allegedly approached the girls between the ages of five and ten, and licked the girls’ feet.” Police are looking into whether the suspect is involved in those other incidents in Monroe County, New York.
