Mark Hamill Says Mitt Romney is ‘Not Actually Human’

Mark Hamill, who you may remember as Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films, has “come out” as a Democrat, and he had some interesting things to say about presumptive GOP candidate Mitt Romney.

Mark Hamill’s views on Mitt Romney are nothing new — the man we assume will be taking on incumbent Democrat candidate President Barack Obama in November has long been decried by late night comedians and political pundits as being like “a stock photo,” or “robotic,” due to his flat affect, seeming lack of compassion for any living thing outside his tax bracket, “plastic hair,” and any number of qualities that have basically built a totally unrelatable candidate for the GOP to run against their sworn enemy “Obummer.”

(Of course, at this point, it seems many Republicans would rally behind a dining chair if it decided to run against Obama, regardless of its position on abortion or gay marriage.)

So Mark Hamill had occasion to talk about his feelings concerning the upcoming election, and he spoke a bit about income inequality, saying:

“I knew nothing about Mexican history or anything. But just the idea of a privileged person fighting for the underdog – there’s something very romantic about that… I guess it goes back to Robin Hood. People that are fighting for the middle class and for the Have-Nots. It’s something that we see even playing out in the presidential race.”

And it seems that Mitt Romney is not the droid Mark Hamill is looking for, as Luke Skywalker said:

“And if you don’t vote for Barack Obama, you’re insane,” he added. ”Cause without him, I think the middle class will completely disappear. And you look at Romney and I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but I think he’s like The Thing he only imitates human behavior. He’s not actually human himself.”

Do you agree that Mitt Romney probably smells like high grade plastic and that no one has ever seen him swimming?
