‘NCIS’ Star Pauley Perrette Reveals Another Scary Encounter With A Homeless Man

Pauley Perrette helps solve crimes on her hit CBS show NCIS, but she’s become the center of crimes in her personal life. The actress revealed on Wednesday, February 10 that she has been attacked by another homeless man in Los Angeles.

Pauley Perrette just made headlines just a few months ago when she revealed that she was attacked by homeless man David Merck, 45, who she found outside her Hollywood home back in November. Merck was charged with one count of felony battery after her allegedly grabbed and punched her. This time, Perrette, 46, reveals this incident took place when she was stopped on the busy streets of Hollywood.

The gothic entertainer took to her Twitter account to share the story of her recent attack.

“There was a pretty off homeless guy asking for money from drivers. I keep ones in my glove box for this very reason. I got his attention and I held up a dollar bill. I said God Bless You. He grabbed my wrist and put his whole head inside my car. He held my arm and then said, ‘What time is it?’ He was in my car and I was scared. I looked at my dashboard and first said, ‘I rebuke you satan in the name of Jesus Christ.’ Then said to him, ‘it’s 5:37.'”

Thankfully, Pauley made it out it home safely. She told fans that the man let go of her wrist and that she didn’t have to use the Taser and tactical knife that she leaves in her car in case she gets herself into these situations.

“I am learning. I need to know both sides, be SMART and be safe and give. But all of them at once. Be smart and safe. I am learning.”

An inside source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the homeless man was aggressive with another individual in an SUV who offered to help him, but he ran away after the person gave him money. The man has not been identified.

Just last month, Pauley Perrette opened up to Extra about how her life has changed since her first attack. Perrette revealed that her faith has helped her through the scary ordeal.

“He was stronger that I was…I was praying my heart out, he kept saying my name is William, I’m going to kill you…I just froze and just said to him, ‘William is a beautiful name, I have a little nephew named William’ and he went to punch me and just let me go.”

She’s making use of her attacks to become an advocate for the homeless. Pauley has always been a longtime advocate for the homeless, but now she feels even more motivated to help them more than ever. Pauley also revealed to Extra that she still loves playing her character, Abby Sciuto, on NCIS after nearly 13 years.

Prior to taking on the role of the forensic scientist on the long-running series, Perrette aspired to be either a police officer or FBI agent, according to Biography. She also studied criminal justice at the Valdosta State University in Georgia.

When she’s not advocating for the homeless, Pauley also is a staunch civil rights activist and a big supporter of the LGBT movement. She is also an animal rights activist and has recently agreed to foster two rescue puppies, according to Design & Trend.

Pauley Perrette is also best friends with Criminal Minds star Kirsten Vangsness. The two have shared their moments together countless times on social media. Perrette has expressed that she would love to have Vangsness to star on her show. Maybe it’s time for a special NCIS/Criminal Minds crossover episode?
