Gwen Stefani is turning 2016 into the year where all her dreams come true — with some help from her boyfriend Blake Shelton, of course. From music to romance, Gwen is ready to celebrate life after suffering through the heartbreak of a divorce from Gavin Rossdale last year. And as she gets ready to release her first album in a decade, Stefani and Blake are finding a way to get away from it all occasionally to a place that usually doesn’t make the top “Romantic Places in the World” lists of travel agents.
Shelton has persuaded his big city girlfriend to fall in love with his small country home town in Oklahoma, according to E! News.
Gwen and Blake have paid many visits to his home since they began dating three months ago. Located near Tishomingo, Oklahoma, it’s become a happy haven for the lovebirds.
In addition to their romantic secret love life, Shelton and Stefani are making beautiful music together. Adhering to the theory that opposites attract, the No Doubt frontwoman and country crooner have created a song together. In addition, Gwen is confirmed to play the role of adviser to Team Blake when the new season of The Voice debuts.

“It’s all systems go. They are very happy together,” a source told E! News. “Their relationship is solid.”
As for why Tishomingo appeals so much? It’s small and quiet, the opposite of the bustling, paparazzi-haunted southern California environment where The Voice is filmed.
“An easy place to live the simple life,” sum up local residents.
Stefani and Shelton have been enjoying that simple life together since the holidays. Blake treated Gwen to dipped ice cream cones at Dairy Queen, and they heated up their love life at Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant. And with no need to worry about dressing up for the red carpet, they’ve dressed down in matching baseball caps and camouflage outfits.
Whether they’re hunting for a deal at the Dollar General market store or getting supplies at Atwoods Ranch and Home, Shelton and Stefani are cherishing the joys of his hometown together.
“[Blake] wants to share it with Gwen,” added the source.
Another insider told E! News that Shelton frequently visits the area.
“He comes in as often as he can. He’ll come in for two days and then head out,” shared the insider. “He flies in every chance he can… When he is here, he is home.”
The country crooner is purchasing more land in addition to his 1,200-acre spread, Ten Point Ranch. Is he thinking of a place to share with Stefani and her boys some day?
For those who think that the two have nothing in common, Gwen and Blake actually have many similarities, added another source.
“They both value family and they are crazy about each other,” explained the source. “Some people don’t think they have a thing in common but they do.”
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it seems like the perfect time for Shelton to seal the deal by proposing to Stefani, and a source told Hollywood Life the inside scoop on his eagerly anticipated proposal plans.
“Blake and Gwen are really going strong and getting engaged is definitely a real thing that has been talked about, but Blake wants to make it perfect and make the day special,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life. “He thought that he would propose on Valentine’s Day but then talked himself out of it because he thought it would be too cheesy and obvious to do it on that day.”
“He would much rather do it at another time to make that date their own special day. He’s thinking of pulling the trigger on their engagement in the summer around his birthday. It’s definitely on his mind a lot,” added the same source.
And Stefani just might have given a hint as to how she feels about Shelton by sharing her new song “Make Me Like You.” The song shared by Gwen is the newest track from her upcoming album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, reported Billboard.

The release of that single comes as a teaser to what will be Gwen’s first solo album since 2006, according to the Verge.
It will be released March 18. As the Inquisitr reported, Stefani also is creating a historical first by shooting a live music video for “Make Me Like You” during a commercial break for the Grammys.
