On Wednesday, Teresa Giudice had her first public event since her release from prison. She had a book signing in Ridgewood, New Jersey, for her memoir, Turning The Tables: From Housewife To Inmate And Back Again. One person who was there to support her was her The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Jacqueline Laurita.
After the event, Teresa tweeted her thanks to Jacqueline for attending her event. Teresa told Jacqueline that she can’t wait for her own book to come out.
A reporter and writer for NJ.com, Vicki Hyman, attended the book signing ad posted details and photos of the event. Teresa wore a blue lace top or dress for her event.
Vicki posted one photo of Jacqueline posing for a photograph with a fan.
Vicki also tweeted that it was “nuts” at the book signing, and that press members were kicked out shortly after the event began.
Sorry nuts here. Press got kicked out of the signing after 5-10 min. But I talked to a lot of nice #Rhonj fans who were thrilled to be here.— Vicki Hyman (@VickiHy) February 11, 2016
Jacqueline wasn’t the only co-star to attend the book signing. Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker were also there. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Dolores and Siggy are reportedly two of the women who will be seen on Season 7 in lesser roles.
The reporter tweeted that two of Teresa’s children, Milania and Audriana, were also there.
The book signing was apparently a success. Teresa tweeted that she was told by the bookstore that it was the biggest turnout they ever had for a book signing.
Thank you to everyone who came to @BookendsNJ last night .. They told me it was the biggest turnout of all of my book signings @ their store— Teresa Giudice (@Teresa_Giudice) February 11, 2016
Prior to Teresa’s arrival, the reporter estimated that there about 100 people there.
Andy Cohen, whose two-part interview with Teresa Giudice for Watch What Happens Live aired on Tuesday and Wednesday night, has given his thoughts on Teresa’s current relationship with Jacqueline. In an Ask Andy video that was posted on Thursday morning, Andy described the two women’s relationship as “fiery” and “interesting.”
“Well I know what’s happening so it’s very fiery. It’s very interesting. Very Interesting.”
Andy also said that he thinks Teresa is genuinely remorseful for committing fraud, and that it won’t happen again. Yet, Andy also admitted that he’s not sure whether Teresa still completely understands the part she played.
“Yes. I just can’t tell what her thoughts are about what did happen. So I think she is remorseful.”
Andy also revealed that what was most surprising to him about Teresa’s appearance on his talk show was that she chose to wear an orange jumpsuit to it.
“That she showed up in an orange jumpsuit. I couldn’t believe it.”
During Teresa’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen mentioned that while Teresa acknowledged a lot of her co-stars in her memoir, she didn’t mention Jacqueline. Teresa said that she didn’t hear from Jacqueline during her prison stay.
“While I was there, I didn’t hear from her. When I left we weren’t speaking… We left on on bad… you know… I haven’t really spoken to her in, like, three years.”
Bravo announced on Monday that Season 7 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey will air later this year, and that it’ll star Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and Jacqueline Laurita. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Melissa recently posted a photo of herself with Teresa and Jacqueline. The photo may have been taken during a short girls’ trip that the women took last weekend.
