House of Cards returns to Netflix for Season 4 on March 6, and yesterday, the streaming service released a trailer that gives us a peek at what the future may hold for Frank Underwood (played by Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood (played by Robin Wright). Check it out below.
In House of Cards, Wright plays the strong and ambitious Claire Underwood, wife of Frank Underwood. They have always shared one goal: the White House. They both have been ruthless in their pursuit of the office of the most powerful man in the free world. But Claire has been used by her husband in the process, and last season, she grew angry about it and began to feel her own power. House of Cards has always been about this power couple doing whatever it takes to get Frank into the Oval Office. But it seems that Claire may have some ideas about becoming the most powerful woman in the free world. She's learned how to succeed in the brutal world that is D.C. politics from the master: her husband. Season 4 of House of Cards will be a thrill to watch as Claire uses what she's learned from him against him.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Netflix had this to say about the Underwoods and the new episodes.
"Frank and Claire continue their pursuit for power, battling everyone in their way, including each other."
Kevin Spacey provides the voice-over for the House of Cards trailer. He tells Claire that she doesn't appreciate what they've accomplished together. That he's had to fight his entire life for everything he has. We have no doubt his wife will put up a fight, she has a purpose and ambition of her own, but Frank has fought his entire life, and he is not about to stop. This House of Cards battle will be a tough one between two people who know each other better than anyone else, maybe better than they know themselves.

The New York Daily News reports that Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly), Remy Danton (Mahershala Ali), and Jackie Sharp (Molly Parker) will all be part of the new House of Cards episodes. Deadline reported in January that this will be the final season for House of Cards creator Beau Willimon.
House of Cards has received several awards, among them are a Golden Globe that was awarded to Kevin Spacey for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama in 2015 and a Screen Actor Guild Award also given to Kevin Spacey for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series this year.
