Jenelle Evans is preparing for an important court battle against her mother Barbara Evans. The mother and daughter have not gotten along in some time according to Radar Online. The shreds of their relationship may not survive the latest round when Janelle sues for custody of her son Jace. She wrote about her thoughts and feelings in a new blog, Overcoming Life's Obstacles.
Six months ago, Jenelle moved from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to back to her home town of Wilmington, North Carolina. The Teen Mom 2 star said she has worked hard to turn her life around so she can get her first-born son back.
"Moving back to North Carolina was also such a big deal to me because, of course, as everyone knows, I do not have custody of my first son, Jace. I was going to wait for it and see how my mom felt about me moving back, hoping, and praying I can have my son as well. It seems like things aren't changing as of now."Sometimes the past is not easily forgotten, or maybe Barbara Evans has grown attached to having her grandson around and she is not willing to give him up without a fight. Jenelle is beginning to realize that her plans of getting Jace back may be more difficult than she ever imagined. Jenelle Evans said in her blog, "I realized I'm going to fight a tough battle between my own mother and me because she will not let me have my son back. I think maybe she's too attached to him, or maybe she doesn't want to be alone. I never thought my mother would still put up such a battle with me, knowing I'm sober, knowing my dating life is perfect, and everything has been smooth sailing since I've moved back." Jenelle believes that her mother is angry over a decision that she made concerning future taping of her reality show. Jenelle does not want Barbara to be a part of Teen Mom 2 anymore. Miss Evans told Radar Online that her mother "always wants to argue with me on camera. I just don't want to film with her."
Lately, Jenelle Evans has been under a lot of stress and she has gone into the hospital to find out what is wrong. Doctors believe that Jenelle's problems are stress related and diagnosed her with anxiety, but the Teen Mom 2 star thinks there is something seriously wrong with her. Evans requested a series of tests, including an MRI of her spine and brain, to determine if she has a hidden health problem. An inside source told Radar Online that stress issues are causing a number of problems in Jenelle's body. "Her nerves are all messed up in her body and she has restless leg syndrome and can hardly walk. She has shortness of breath and loss of coordination and balancing when walking."
When Jenelle Evans and her current boyfriend, David Eason, came back from a trip to Florida, Jenelle discovered that her car had been stolen by her ex-fiancé, Nathan Griffith. She was unable to file charges against Nathan for car theft, because his name is also on the car's title. Jenelle did the next best thing and filed charges against Nathan for stealing her possessions that were inside the car including a car seat, bracelet, tanning lotion, and clothes. She figured the total cost of everything he stole was around $1000.
In January, police were called to Jenelle Evans's house when her mother Barbara showed up to take the kids. According to a witness, Jenelle wasn't a part of the fight and she stayed out of sight. It was David Eason who called 911 for help. He claimed that Barbara arrived at the house uninvited and began shouting at him in front of Jenelle's kids. Of course, during that time, film crews were busy taping everything that transpired for the Teen Mom 2 series.
