Billy Ray Cyrus Tweets Gruesome Photo Of Bloody, Hospitalized Son

Miley Cyrus’ younger brother Braison was hospitalized on Saturday. Don’t worry, he’s fine, and Papa Cyrus was there to snap some pics of the unfortunate youngster who looked to be a bloody mess.

So what happened? The incident was seemingly meek, and the result completely unwarranted. Braison was in the hospital simply to get his tonsils taken out. The 18-year-old said that what should be a routine operation turned into “the most horrific day of my life.” Braison detailed the incident via his Twitter account, explaining, “I got my tonsils out last week. Not sure what happened exactly but long story short my artery opened and I was bleed[ing] a lot.” He spent the entirety of Saturday in the hospital, but is apparently “all good now,” according to NY Daily.

Braison’s dad, the famous Billy Ray, was also there documenting the entire thing via Twitter, notes the Huffington Post. “Thanking God and all the fine doctors nurses and staff at Providence Saint Joseph hospital. Been a wild 24 hours but bringing my son home,” he tweeted along with a photo of Braison. In the photo, the young Cyrus is sitting up in his hospital bed grinning slightly with blood all over his mouth and a bucket of it in his lap (I’m posting the photo below, I just wanted to warn you first).

Some have criticized dad Billy Ray for going to far with this pic. It is indeed gruesome, despite the fact that Braison is awake and doesn’t seem to be in extreme pain. This isn’t the first time the elder Cyrus has gone too far, either. His own daughter, Miley, was hurt by comments made last year in GQ.
