Rob Kardashian To Return To ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ For $1 Million?

Is Rob Kardashian being lured back to reality television? In 2012, Rob Kardashian quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians amid struggles with weight gain and depression, but now, a source claims his mother, Kris Jenner, is hoping to get him back on the show.

For the past few years, Rob Kardashian has rarely been spotted publicly, but last month, after going public with a new romance with Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian has been seen driving around Los Angeles, and at the beach with his girlfriend. Still, it’s hard to say whether or not a return to the show is possible.

“While [Rob Kardashian]’s sisters stew over his betrayal, Kris is already wheeling and dealing,” a source told OK! Magazine, via Hollywood Life on February 10. “She’s offered [Rob Kardashian] a lifeline she knows he can’t afford to refuse: $1 million in a lump-sum payment if he comes back to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Kris wants to be the one to cash in on Rob’s love life drama.”

Rob Kardashian is dating the ex-girlfriend of his youngest sister’s boyfriend, Tyga, who was once a close friend of his sister Kim. The relationship has led to tons of controversy, mainly with Kylie Jenner. After Rob Kardashian and Blac went public, Kylie took to Instagram, where she shared a drawing of a devil and spoke of a brother being disowned.

Rob Kardashian’s older sister Khloe appeared to address his alleged betrayal as well, talking to fans about never going against family on Twitter. However, she appeared to deny her message was about Rob Kardashian in a later tweet.

Since leaving Keeping Up with the Kardashians in 2012, Rob Kardashian had been living with Khloe, but after he and Blac Chyna began dating, he moved out of Khloe’s and in with his girlfriend and her son, King Cairo.

“[Kris is] trying to regain some control over a messy situation,” the source explained to the magazine. “Her goal is to keep [Rob Kardashian] in the family fold, coax him into therapy and rehab and film all the drama of the ratings-challenged KUWTK. She’ll kill three birds with one stone. But [Rob Kardashian] is demanding more money.”

Rob Kardashian has been tied to talks of a possible return to Keeping Up with the Kardashians for years, and in September of last year, amid rumors of a 15-pound weight loss, it seemed possible. However, despite Us Weekly’s report claiming the reality star was back on track and had already returned to filming, he has not yet been seen on Season 11.

Rob Kardashian has “already lost more than 15 pounds,” an insider close to the 28-year-old told the magazine. “Rob has been sticking to the plan Gunnar [Peterson] created for him, and is getting meal delivery from a chef.”

The magazine insider also noted a potential $2 million payday for returning, which is double what his mother allegedly offered him several months later.

“He’s not getting paid if he doesn’t film,” a second source explained to Us Weekly, adding that Rob Kardashian had already rejoined his family and began filming scenes for Season 11. “[Rob Kardashian] has a $2 million-a-year contract. He realized he couldn’t give up this huge opportunity.”

Rob Kardashian has yet to speak out about his possible return.
