Johnny Depp will star in Wes Anderson’s next movie according to several sources. Depp will star in The Grand Budapest Hotel which will begin filming right after Depp is done work on The Lone Ranger.

The new movie was written by Wes Anderson and few details about the storyline or Depp’s character have been revealed at time. What we can almost be certain of it that the movie will be extremely detail oriented while possibly featuring other big names. Anderson has the ability to attract big time collaborators including Bill Murray, Ben Stiller, Willem Dafoe, Meryl Streep and George Clooney. Hollywood stars practically brawl for the chance to star in a Wes Anderson film.

For the new Johnny Depp starring vehicle MTV says Wes Anderson has reached out to some of his favorite cast members for support including Bill Murray and Owen Wilson. Also up for roles in The Grand Budapest Hotel are Norton, Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Angela Lansbury, Jude Law and Adrien Brody.

Anderson is moving ahead quickly with his new project according to Hollywood insiders. You may recall that Wes Anderson took five years off from live action filming to create the stop-motion animated film “Fantastic Mr. Fox” which is based on the Roald Dahl children’s book of the same name.

Johnny Depp’s people have not yet confirmed the deal, however given Depp’s crazy attention to details he would likely be the perfect fit for the overly obsessive Wes Anderson.
