WWE News: Backstage Update On Vince McMahon’s Role At WrestleMania 32

It’s under 60 days until WrestleMania 32 and the card is still starting to shape up before the big night in Dallas at AT&T Stadium. Rumors are pointing towards Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch to wrestle together in a triple threat match for the Divas championship. Roman Reigns is set to take on Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight title. Anything can happen between now and WrestleMania, but this is what’s being rumored so far.

Brock Lesnar has two potential opponents for the Grandaddy of Them All. At first, it was Bray Wyatt that was rumored to face Lesnar. After the last few weeks on Monday Night Raw, Dean Ambrose has stood tall against Lesnar in recent promos. On this past weeks’ WWE Raw, Ambrose took Lesnar’s finishing move multiple times, but up every time. He continuously wanted more. Not only that, but he got the upper-hand on Lesnar with the low blow.

With all that said, this leaves out Vince McMahon for WrestleMania 32. In the past year, Ronda Rousey was rumored to wrestle Stephanie McMahon. That would leave her out of the corner of Triple H in his title match. Injuries changed plans, but it appears that Stephanie will be in HHH’s corner. Where does this leave Vince?

Multiple rumors discuss him being involved in the main event. Since he’s a full-time character on WWE television, it would only make sense for him to show up at WrestleMania 32 on Triple H’s side. The latest reports are backing up that claim. Accoridng to Daily Wrestling News and PWInsider.com, Vince McMahon is expected to be alongside Triple H at WrestleMania 32.

As of last week there was still at least some talk of having either Vince McMahon and The Rock or Stephanie McMahon and Ronda Rousey involved with the Roman Reigns vs. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H main event at WrestleMania 32. We also know that there’s been talk of having a special referee in the match.

This only helps the claim that Reigns will beat Ambrose and Lesnar at WWE Fast Lane and go on to face Triple H for the WWE World Heayweight championship. Is this the best move? Also, how does Vince figure into these plans? If they want to use him properly, then they need to swerve the WWE fans and align with Reigns to capture the belt.

It may not make sense right now, but the fans may not want Reigns to win the belt without something interesting taking place with it. This will come in handy when Braun Strowman gets a big spot at WrestleMania. Yes, he won’t be wreslting the Undertaker, but Strowman is going to be pushed highly at the show, and beyond.

“According to The Wrestling Observer, the proposed Strowman vs Undertaker match is most likely not happening now, and instead a new idea will likely happen.”

“The current plan in WWE is to have Strowman win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, and go on to receive a huge push as WWE’s next top monster heel.”

This will be the first time that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner will go on to do great thigns following the match. Is Strowman going to be booked wisely?

He can be a monster heel, but he can’t be forced down the WWE fans’ throats. It has to happen organically. Strowman won’t turn face. That’s guaranteed. However, if they allow him to work the way he can, then perhaps WWE fans will warm up to the idea of the Black Sheep of the Wyatt Family.
