‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Star Teresa Guidice Is Filming Post Prison, Who Else Is In And Who Is Out For Season 7?

Clear your schedules, Real Housewife fans — Teresa Giudice is returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey!

“I am very excited to be back,” Teresa said, according to E! News.

“For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0.”

The news of Teresa’s return as a regular to the Bravo show, People reports, was announced Monday on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show, Radio Andy.

Cohen said that the reality show has already started production and has been shooting since Teresa was released from prison on Dec. 23.

“YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! @Teresa_Giudice is officially returning to the Real Housewives of New Jersey! #RHONJ.” Andy tweeted.

E! News says that during Season 6, which ended in November, 2014, Teresa appeared to be indicating that she was through with the show since she was facing a year in jail. Now, new reports claim that the new season will be about her mending broken relationships with family and friends and also saying goodbye to her husband, Joe Giudice, since he will soon be serving his own 41-month prison sentence.

Fans were also treated with an ABC News exclusive with Teresa recently, where she opened up about her finances and her future.

“[We’re not in] foreclosure any longer, thank you, God,” Giudice said in the interview, which will air Tuesday on Good Morning America. “And our restitution’s paid off. We’re in — thank God — in good shape.”

The interview was the first time The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has sat down for a television interview since she was released from a federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut, in December. As fans are well-aware, the reality star served 11-and-a-half months after entering a guilty plea last year to tax fraud. She was released before completing her full 15-month sentence because of good behavior, Teresa’s attorney, James Leonard, reportedly shared with ABC News.

However, in regards to the guilty plea, Teresa admitted in the interview that she didn’t break any laws and shouldn’t have gone to prison.

“This is what happened in my eyes. I signed some papers. There was no intent to commit a crime. I didn’t know I was committing a crime,” Giudice said to ABC News‘ Amy Robach.

“I got indicted. The government saw it differently. I got sentenced. I… served time. I did what I had to do and now I’m moving past it.”

Since being released, ABC News reports that Teresa has been spending time at her home with her husband, Joe, and her four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana. In her first-ever memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, she recounts her experience.

E! News has also confirmed that returning to the show alongside Teresa will be Jacqueline Laurita and Melissa Gorga.

“I’m baaaaack! I can’t get enough of my Bravo family!” Jacqueline told BravoTV.com. “Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best! Looking forward to new beginnings. XOXO.”

Melissa took to Twitter to express her involvement with the upcoming season, posting a group picture of herself, Teresa, and Jacqueline stating this underneath the image, “We’re Baaack! @Teresa_Giudice @JacLaurita #rhonj Season 7 Baby!”

After a two-year hiatus since the end of Season 6, the RHONJ has already begun filming and is expected to premiere later this year.
