Britney Spears Claims She’s Inspired By Albert Einstein

Could Britney Spears be the next great theoretical mind of our generation? Probably not, but the star is revealing that she looks up to a pretty surprising historical figure.

Spears took to Instagram on February 9 to tell her more than eight million followers who one of her biggest inspirations is, and it turns out Britney is actually a fan of the theory of relativity.

“So inspired by this guy. I just love looking at him,” Britney recently wrote on her official Instagram page alongside a photo of German theoretical physicist Albert Einstein.

And it turns out Britney is so enamored by the iconic scientist that she even admitted that she’s planning on picking his brain when the two meet in the afterlife.

“He will be the first person I speak to in heaven!” Spears wrote alongside the photo, adding the hashtag “#AlbertEinstein.”

But while Britney’s recent Einstein admission may leave fans scratching their heads, this isn’t the first time Spears has used social media to spread the love for the man regarded as having one of the greatest minds of all time.

Back in December, Britney posted yet another photo of Albert Einstein to her Instagram page, where she joked that the two had a whole lot of history.

“Just an old buddy,” Spears captioned the sepia photo of the scientist, adding “we go way back” with a winking face emoji.

And it looks like Einstein’s influence may just have rubbed off on the pop superstar.

Just before posting the photo of her “old buddy,” Britney also posted a snap of a pretty complicated series of algebra equations on December 11, where she told her millions of fans in the caption “Learn something new everyday!” And it sounds like Britney is doing just that.

If Spears’ very active social media accounts are anything to go by, Britney is also expanding her mind to study the legendary work of another historical figure, Leonardo Da Vinci.

Spears used her Instagram account once again on February 1 where she posted a photo of Da Vinci’s face alongside one of his most famous drawings, the Vitruvian Man. Britney then captioned the post “Our father who art in heaven.”

Spears’ latest intellectual social media posts come just months after the star admitted that she’s been attempting to learn algebra in order to help her sons, Sean Preston, 10, and Jayden James, 9, with their school homework.

“Some of it is hard for me. Next year when [Preston’s] in fifth grade, he’s going to be doing pre-algebra, and I’m taking classes so I know how to do it!” Spears told People back in March of her recent foray back into the classroom. “They go to a really hard school, and this week we had three hours of homework [every night].”

Britney also revealed to the magazine that her son’s school work is a “priority” in the Spears household, and the singer even admitted that she’s put a rewards system in place to help her boys get good grades.

“Homework is a priority, and we have a reward system that helps motivate them,” Britney told People last year, “If they get so many A’s, they get one toy a month.”

But just because Britney is taking a little time to work on her mind, that doesn’t mean Spears is ready to turn her back on being a pop star.

The star recently revealed that she’s working hard on revamping her uber-popular “Piece of Me” Las Vegas residency shows, and she even has the bruises to prove it.

“Someone jokingly asked me what the hell I did yesterday… check out my bruises that’s what I did!,” Spears captioned an Instagram photo of her legs all battered and bruised on February 1. “Working hard on the new show! Get ready!!”
