Marc Anthony Becomes Latest Celebrity To Bash Trump: ‘F**k Donald Trump’
American singer Marc Anthony has joined the increasing list of celebrities who have taken to bashing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump over the course of the last few days.
During a sold-out performance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, the singer summed up his view towards Trump in an emphatically concise manner when he exclaimed, much to the delight of the raucous crowd, the following words: “F**k Donald Trump!”
This was after Marc Anthony had expressed pride at being a member of the Hispanic community, saying he was a Latino living in America and was very proud of his roots.
“I really want you guys to know: I’m proud to be born and f***ing raised in New York City. I’m proud to be f***ing Puerto Rican. I’m Latino in the U.S.A…. No matter where we come from, we’re Latinos. We have to take care of each other. There’s only one f***ing box to check.”
Unsurprisingly, the crowd — comprising mostly of Hispanics — took warmly to Anthony’s expletive-ridden tirade towards Donald Trump, cheering him on as he had one more message for the Republican candidate before wrapping up the show. “Wake that motherf***er up!” he concluded, to more cheering from the crowd.
There was a standing ovation involved too.

Marc Anthony’s denouncement of Trump is not completely unwarranted, it seems. Trump has made himself particularly unpopular among members of the Hispanic community after constantly claiming during the course of his presidential campaign that Latinos are majorly responsible for the violence spreading across the United States. He has labeled them “criminals”, “rapists” and “killers” in the past, along with calling them a host of other outrageous things.
So it was no surprise when the Latino-strong crowd at Madison Square Garden cheered Marc Anthony on for his views on Trump.
As it stands, Anthony is not the only celebrity to have bashed Trump during the last week. According to Hollywood Life, movie stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson called Donald Trump a “hot mess” on Saturday Night Live, on the very same night that Marc Anthony spoke his mind about the Republican candidate.
Well, it was not like the two actors were themselves on SNL, but they still had something very interesting to say about all the presidential candidates across the board.

Of course, this is not really a criticism, but it just goes to show that Donald Trump is a goldmine for entertainers!
As far as Marc Anthony’s ideas on Trump are concerned, he is also not the only Latino celebrity to have bashed him recently. Several Latino celebrities, including singers Romeo Santos and Shakira, have taken to publicly shaming Trump for his “hateful and racist speeches.”
Last year, Santos had the exact same message for Trump as Anthony had on Saturday night. During a performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Santos had yelled out “You got a problem with Mexicans, but they built your f***ing buildings, motherf***er. F**k Donald Trump.”
And Shakira has been openly expressive (read: on social media) in her criticism of Trump since he announced his candidacy for the presidential race early last year.
So what can we expect in the next few months? More heated exchanges, and more expletive-ridden rants.
Expect Donald Trump and Marc Anthony to keep them coming.
