Zayn Malik Celebrates First No. 1 Single On Hot 100 And Gigi Hadid’s New ‘Vogue’ Covers
Zayn Malik has plenty of reasons to be happy. The singer has scored his first No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Malik is also proud to be dating new girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
The former One Direction singer is the first U.K. artist to score a No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with his debut solo single “Pillowtalk.” Zayn Malik’s sexy new jam debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and On Demand Song charts, the U.S. Digital Song chart, and the U.K. Singles Sales chart.
In addition, “Pillowtalk” has been sitting in the No. 1 spot on Spotify’s global chart since it’s January 29 release, becoming the streaming service’s fastest song by a debut artist to hold onto the spot.
Zayn Malik released a statement thanking his fans for their support.
“Thank you to all my fans and supporters we have achieved this together and I am grateful.”
A week after his single dropped, the 23-year-old singer shared an acoustic version of the song and teased his next single, “Late Nights.” Both of the songs will be featured on Zayn’s solo record Mind of Mine, which will drop on March 25, the same day that he broke ties from One Direction.
The “Pillowtalk” video features Zayn Malik kissing and hugging his confirmed girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
Speaking of his girlfriend, he celebrated her sizzling new photoshoot for Vogue Paris. There’s no doubt that Zayn feels like the luckiest man in the world right now. He took to Twitter to give his seal of approval.

Sure, Gigi has landed over a handful of fashion covers, but nothing quite like this. The blonde beauty landed two covers for Vogue Paris. Shot by Mert and Marcus, Gigi is featured on one of the covers in a pink belted Chanel jacket and Chanel pearls.
She even thanked the magazine for featuring her. “What an honor and dream come true it is to be on the cover of French Vogue. Thank you so much @mertalas @emmanuellealt,” she wrote on Instagram.
On the second cover, Hadid reveals in her own words that she’s “wearing mostly Chanel No. 5 ;)” – because she’s not wearing much other than pointed-toe mules, hoop earrings, and cuffed bracelets.
American Vogue is considered one of the biggest fashion magazines, but she already has scored a Vogue UK cover. Now fans are wondering if Zayn’s girlfriend will also score an American Vogue cover in the near future.
Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have reportedly getting serious lately. So serious that they’re already talking about getting married and having kids, an alleged insider revealed to E! News.
“Zayn and Gigi are getting serious. Gigi was so excited when Zayn asked her to be in his music video. They both acted very professional on set but it was very obvious that they were in love. They couldn’t stop flirting with each other.”
Does that really mean that the couple will get engaged soon though? Malik was previously engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards.
“This relationship is very different than when she was with Jonas. Her friends think this is going to last!”
That’s also what Gigi’s friends said about her previous relationship with Australian pop star Cody Simpson.
Zayn recently confirmed that Gigi was his girlfriend in a recent radio interview, so that must mean they’re serious about each other. The couple has also been showing off their whirlwind romance in several sightings at The Nice Guy.
They were also seen apartment hunting in New York City, making the rumors swirl that Hadid and Malik are planning to live together sometime soon.
