Starbucks And Chill? Coffee Giant Releases Valentine’s Day Inspired Drinks


If you, or your loved one, are easily seduced by the savory aroma of freshly-brewed coffee, then head on over to Starbucks, where the coffee giant has added three holiday drinks to its menu for Valentine’s Day. The theme? Chocolate, of course. Perhaps the visit might provide the perfect nightcap after your date night of dinner and a movie.

Starbucks Molten chocolate delights are drinks all “topped with espresso-infused whipped cream and espresso mocha drizzle,” – a hot cup of love! The new drinks will be available for just seven days: Monday through Sunday, February 14, per The Oregonian.

Here are the drink descriptions via Starbucks.

Molten Chocolate Latte: “Chocolaty chips are melted into espresso, then topped with steamed milk combined with bittersweet mocha sauce. This latte is finished with mocha and espresso-infused whipped cream and an espresso mocha drizzle. It’s available hot and iced.”

Molten Chocolate Frappuccino: “Coffee with rich mocha sauce and chocolaty chips blended with milk and ice. This beverage is finished with mocha and espresso-infused whipped cream and an espresso mocha drizzle.”

Molten Hot Chocolate: “Bittersweet mocha sauce and chocolaty chips melted into steamed milk for a smooth and creamy taste. Mocha and espresso-infused whipped cream and espresso mocha drizzle tops off the beverage.”

Perhaps your perfect Valentine’s Day date is exchanging intoxicating conversation with your lover while indulging in your favorite speciality drink at your local Starbucks. According to a new survey from Redbox, over 75 percent of respondents said dinner and a movie is the ideal date night. The survey of over 5,000 people revealed that the most desired actor/actress for this year’s Valentine’s Day were Jennifer Lawrence and Channing Tatum. Comedy was the preferred genre for date night, and the Best Date Night Movie of all Time is The Notebook.
