Teresa Giudice Turns Down ‘DWTS’ For Season 22, Says She Didn’t Know She Was Committing Crime

Teresa Giudice is making a return to television with The Real Housewives of New Jersey. It turns out that Teresa actually was invited to do another show, but she turned it down. Reality Tea shared that Teresa Giudice was actually invited to be on Dancing with the Stars for Season 22, but it doesn’t look like she wants to join the show. Of course, ABC knows that Teresa Giudice fresh out of prison would have been great for their ratings.

Teresa Giudice actually wants to stay home with her girls and, of course, Joe is leaving for prison soon, so she won’t have him around to help. The new season will start airing on ABC in March, and if Teresa had decided to do the show, she would have to start practicing very soon. This could have kept her away from Joe Giudice during his last little bit of time at home before he has to head off to prison and away from Teresa and the girls. A source explained that Teresa turned down the show and even had a good reason for it.

“Teresa was offered a six-figure sum, but she decided against it. She feels that she needs to spend time with her family and be there for her children right now.”

Here is the thing, though. Dancing with the Stars is going to allow anyone to share that they are on the show just yet. If Teresa Giudice decided to do it, then this news might just be coming out to try to throw people off and make them think that Teresa didn’t do the show. They do pay well for contestants, and Giudice obviously needs the money.

There is a lot of talk about who will be joining Dancing with the Stars Season 22 besides Teresa Giudice. Rumors are flying that Jodie Sweetin of Fuller House will be on the show. Taryn Manning of Orange Is the New Black has also been mentioned as a possible cast member, and Rhea Perlman of Cheers has also been talked about being on the show this upcoming season.

Radar Online shared that Teresa Giudice is actually speaking out now and says that she didn’t even know that she was doing anything illegal when she signed papers that ended her up behind bars. Teresa also revealed that they are not in foreclosure anymore and were able to keep their home.

Here is what Teresa had to say about not thinking that she was doing anything illegal.

“This is what happened in my eyes. I signed some papers. There was no intent to commit a crime. I didn’t know I was committing a crime. I got indicted. The government saw it differently. I got sentenced. I served time. I did what I had to do and now I’m moving past it.”

You can see everything that Teresa Giudice had to say tomorrow on Good Morning America. She will also be sitting down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live tomorrow night to talk about her life.
