Khloe Kardashian Posts About Sadness And Strength, Spends Time With Lamar
Khloe Kardashian spent some time with her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, and sister Kim on Sunday, leading to speculation from fans after she also posted on Instagram about pain and sadness.
The reality star shared some quotes on the site, then imparted some wisdom of her own regarding happiness and why we all go through difficult times.
“Everything happens for a reason… Right?! I’m a firm believer of this saying. We may not understand why we have to walk a certain path or why when it rains, it pours but trust that God has a plan. ‘Walk by faith, not by sight.’ We must lose in order to gain. Lessons are best taught through our darkest hour. Through crying and defeat. Through sorrow and loss. All of my pain or sadness has only built my strength, soul, character and wisdom. One day, all of our trials and tribulations will add up and make perfect sense. Until that day comes, learn to laugh at confusion and dance in the rain,” Khloe wrote.

It’s well known that Khloe has had a difficult couple of years following her split from husband Lamar Odom, who was hospitalized last year following a reported overdose and has been completing rigorous rehabilitation. Earlier on Sunday, he went for a hike with Khloe and Kim, who shared pics from their hangout on Instagram. Sources tell Us Weekly that Lamar has been spending quite a bit of time lately with Khloe, Kim, and Kim’s husband, Kanye.

Khloe said last month that Odom is slowly recovering and is doing well after the overdose, which had fans, friends, and family worried that he may never walk again. Kardashian says the ordeal was “terrifying.”
“It’s such a relief. It was terrifying and scary. No one knew what was going to happen. And what’s crazy is because he’s an athlete, I really think having so many years of working out every single day — he wasn’t even walking three weeks ago, and now he’s walking,” Khloe said in an interview on Live With Kelly & Michael.
Khloe has been keeping busy in the past year despite her personal struggles; she keeps up her own website, wrote a memoir, and hosts her own talk show, Kocktails With Khloe. Her book, Strong Looks Better Naked, inspired an impromptu photo shoot recently that started with a night of drinking with her family on holiday.
“We started drinking a little and somehow this impromptu photo shoot turned into a fully nude photo shoot. Even though I’ve worked really hard on my mind and body to get to this point, I am still shocked I had the courage to do this shoot,” Khloe said.
Khloe and her family are portrayed on the new show American Crime Story, which tells the tale of O.J. Simpson’s arrest and trial after his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, was found murdered in front of her home. The Simpsons were good friends with the Kardashians, with O.J. and the girls’ father, Robert, being especially close. Khloe mentions her father’s death in her book, saying she took it extremely hard and was in denial for a long time about it. Afterward, she says, she got a little wild.
“At the funeral, though, when I saw my father in his casket, I completely fell apart. I don’t remember the details, but apparently I was an emotional wreck, and I’m told that I was so distraught I actually passed out. At one point I fell to the floor kick and screaming, and I had to be sedated. It was really intense. I refused to believe my father was gone. I just wanted to believe it was all just a bad dream. That’s when the partying started,” Khloe said.
