PETA Slams Kim Kardashian – Again

Kim Kardashian may hold onto PETA’s ‘most hated celebrity’ title for life. The reality show ‘star’ was spotted carrying an expensive Birkin bag made of crocodile skin on Friday, Radar online reports. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s” performer Kim Kardashian is most definitely not considered an animal lover by PETA, which notes the reality show celebrity also has python knee-high boots and “countless” fur coats in her “cruel closet.” According to Radar Online, the rare Birkin bag carries a hefty $50,000 price tag – expensive for Kim Kardashian but far more costly for the crocodile.

“For every alligator or crocodile-skin accessory an animal was likely beaten but still conscious and able to feel the excruciating pain as his or her skin was peeled off,” PETA representative Wendy Wegner told stated during the Radar Online interview. “These animals feel fear and pain and they don’t want to die.”

Kim Kardashian has been angering PETA basically since she began revealing her personal drama and love life on the small screen. The group compared Kardashian to the the Disney villain, Cruella deVille after she was spotted wearing $5,495 Christian Louboutin python boots last month. The expensive exotic animal-skin boots are banned from stores in California where Kim Kardashian resides.

“They’d go well with a Dalmatian-fur coat, which is also illegal to sell in California and immoral to sell anywhere else, “ Wegner stated during the Radar Online interview.

The People for The Ethical Treatment of Animals organization is urging the public to view video expose created by Joaquin Phoenix which highlights the cruel practices allegedly employed by the exotic-skins industry.
