Watch AFC Bournemouth Vs. Arsenal Live Online: Streaming, Premier League Must-Win For Both Sides

Arsenal fans can watch the Gunners Sunday match against AFC Bournemouth streaming live online to find out if Arsenal can break their four-game Barclays Premier League winless streak and get back into position to secure their 18th-straight UEFA Champions League spot and possibly even contend for the league title in the 2015-2016 season.

In fourth place at 45 points, the game could be considered a must-win for Arsenal, with Manchester United just five points behind them — and Manchester City only two points ahead. A win for Arsenal would vault the Gunners into a ties on points with North London rival Tottenham Hotspur for second place, though with Spurs holding an 11-goal advantage in the goal difference department, Arsenal would find themselves in third.

For AFC Bournemouth, the game is also a must-win, as the Cherries currently hover only five points above the drop zone as they struggle to extend their first-ever stay in the top flight beyond just the one year. The journey for Bournemouth has been a remarkable one, after nearly suffering relegation from the Football League altogether just seven years ago.

AFC Bournemouth has since gone on a tear, climbing into League One after the 2009-2010 season and clawing their way up into the League Championship three years later. Then, just two years after that, Bournemouth won the Championship, earning a once-unthinkable berth in the Barclays Premier League.

AFC Bournemouth met Premier League powerhouse Arsenal for the first time ever in league play back on December 28. The result was a 2-0 defeat. Watch highlights if that first Arsenal vs AFC Bournemouth match in the video below.

To find out how to watch the AFC Bournemouth vs. Arsenal Barclays Premier League Sunday match live online, see the streaming link in the final paragraph of this article. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m at Vitality Stadium in the seaside city of Bournemouth, England, on Sunday, February 7. That’s 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time, 5:30 a.m. Pacific in the United States.

Bournemouth bolstered their chances of survival, picking up Arsenal product Benik Afobe, who arrived at Vitality Stadium on a £10 million transfer — that’s $14.5 million in U.S. currency — from Championship side Wolverhampton in early January. Afobe has adapted quickly to top flight football, scoring three goals in his first four Premier League matches.

Afobe tallied the winning goal against Crystal Palace on Tuesday, allowing the Cherries some breathing space, now sitting five points above the relegation zone in 15th place on the Barclays Premier League table.

Afobe never managed to crack the first team during his time in the Arsenal system, but Manager Arsene Wenger says he is pleased by the 22-year-old striker’s success elsewhere.

“He was very young,” Wenger said, recalling Afobe’s time with Arsenal.

“He had big competition in front of him. He had Robin van Persie, players like that, so I gave him authorization to go somewhere and play, which he did. I believe Benik has done extremely well, even beyond expectations of many people and that’s great, that’s down to him and congratulations to him.”

Arsenal, coming off a goalless draw against Southampton earlier in the week, have not scored a goal in three matches and have dropped nine points in that span. But they hope the return of 24-year-old French midfielder Francis Coquelin will give them at least some kind of a boost.
