Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease a new face will be coming to town in less than a month, and with a new face brings new drama and a possibility of romance for at least one person. The Young and the Restless fans will know Chris McKenna for his role on the show as Detective Harding, as well as on One Life to Live as Joey.
Serial Scoop reported that Chris McKenna announced that he was filming for his new role a few weeks ago by stating he could have sworn he’d been to the CBS studio before. Evidently, Chris didn’t tell his former Y&R cast members that he’d landed a reoccurring role on Bold and the Beautiful, because he noted the look on their faces when they saw him walking down the hall was priceless.

Ever since Bold and the Beautiful unveiled Chris McKenna as a new cast member of the show, fans have been anxious to find out who he’d play and if he’d be staying on the show long-term. Here’s what we know so far: McKenna was cast as a reoccurring character and expected to be seen in the soap opera for at least two to three months, if not longer. His character’s name wasn’t stated; however, it is believed that he will be the love interest to one of the Logan sisters.
The Bold and the Beautiful audience hope that Chris won’t be the love interest for Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Long), as it seems like every new stud that comes into town has some romance with her. Not only that, it seems like Brooke has some spell on the opposite sex, and they all want to be with her — even if they are married or in a committed relationship.

The general census among the fans on social media is he will be a love interest for Katie Logan (Heather Tom), driving a wedge between Katie and Bill (Don Diamont). The once happy couple has a fractured relationship after Katie learned her sister, Brooke, still harbored romantic feelings for her husband, Bill. Of course, this caused an enormous fallout, and Katie felt betrayed by her sister, and unsure if she can fully trust Bill.
The Young and the Restless fans are ecstatic they will see McKenna on the CBS soap opera again. After Y&R had decided to kill Detective Harding, fans were upset that he couldn’t return to the soap opera. A few weeks ago, CBS Soaps in Depth reported that there was a level of excitement when it came out that Chris would be crossing over after landing a reoccurring role on Bold and the Beautiful.

Let’s hope Bold and the Beautiful fans will take notice and see that McKenna is a talented actor, and they are lucky to have snagged him for the daytime drama. Chris McKenna debuts on Bold and the Beautiful on March 3; until then, not much is known about his role. It’ll be interesting to see how B&B utilizes his talent on the soap.
Once thing is certain; Chris McKenna’s followers are hoping that Bold and the Beautiful can write better material for the actor than he received at The Young and the Restless. For the most part, his fans felt that the Y&R writers were confused about how to write compelling material for him; the writers could never decide if Detective Harding was a good cop or bad one.
