Zayn Malik & Gigi Hadid Enjoy Flirty ‘Pillowtalk:’ Mom Yolanda Foster Talks Lyme Disease & ‘Real Housewives’

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have become one of the entertainment industry’s cutest couples. Given what goes on in their “Pillowtalk” music video, Zayn and Gigi (known by fans as Zigi), are heating up their hook-up, reports E! News.

However, Hadid has had problems in the past with what’s viewed as the curse of music video couples. Travel back to early last year, when Gigi was the star in the “Flower” music video with Cody Simpson. Their relationship broke up just a few months after the video.

Then came the directing role Hadid played in the “Cake By The Ocean” music video, which starred Joe Jonas, who was then her beau, and DNCE. The “Cake By The Ocean” video premiered last October, and when early November rolled around, Joe and Hadid were over as a couple.

Bella Hadid, her little sister, was featured in a music video called “In The Night.” While The Weeknd’s video got attention when it debuted last December, Bella and The Weeknd ended their relationship shortly after.

For now, however, Gigi and Zayn are enjoying their time together, says a source cited by E! News.

Initially, when Hadid began her relationship with Malik so quickly after she broke up with Joe Jonas, some thought it was just a rebound romance that would quickly fizzle out. But not according to the source, who shared that Gigi and Zayn have something special.

“Zayn and Gigi are getting serious. Gigi was so excited when Zayn asked her to be in his music video. They both acted very professional on set but it was very obvious that they were in love. They couldn’t stop flirting with each other. Gigi and Bella really like the fact they are in music videos with their boyfriends.”

Although it initially seemed as if Hadid and Jonas had hope for a long-term relationship prior to splitting, the source emphasized that the romance between Malik and Gigi is so special that her friends have faith that they’ll stay together.

“This relationship is very different than when she was with Jonas. Her friends think this is going to last!” gushed the insider.

“Was it cool to have your girlfriend in the video?” a fan asked Zayn.

Malik didn’t hedge around responding to a question that regarded Gigi as his girlfriend.

“That was cool. It was something. We enjoyed it. It was fun,” responded Zayn.

“No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend, right?” teased one of the co-hosts.

“Exactly,” Malik declared.

They’ve flaunted their PDA, enjoyed dinner dates, hunted for apartments, and now they have that famous make-out session as part of Zayn’s music video.

How does the Hadid’s mom, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, feel about her daughter and her new relationship with Malik?

Foster showed her pride in Gigi by posting a throwback photo and an adorable caption, reported Teen Vogue.

“#TBT Live a life you are proud of……. #CommittedToYourForever #MyMinniMe @gigihadid #BabyNumberOne,” wrote Yolanda.

While that post was upbeat and fun, Foster has suffered in her battle with Lyme disease for several years now. Yolanda has documented her battle with Lyme disease on social media and on Real Housewives.

In a preview of Real Housewives, Foster is shown talking about her frustration that some of her co-stars have doubted that she has Lyme disease and that two of her children also have the same condition, reports the Daily Mail.

In a confrontation with Lisa Vanderpump, Yolanda expresses her dismay that the other reality TV star is speculating that Bella and Anwar Hadid do not actually suffer from Lyme disease. Yolanda is so adamant that she even wanted Lisa to look at the medical tests of the children who are sharing in her battle.

Yolanda also was upset that another co-star, Lisa Rinna, was gossiping that Foster is faking her Lyme disease and has Munchausen.

“You are discrediting my disease, my four year journey that I’ve lived,” challenged Yolanda. “And then she also mentioned that you said that Anwar and Bella do not have Lyme disease…It would break my heart that you put any doubt out there that they are ill or not.”
