Ex-Porn Star Harmony Rose Volunteers as an EMT

Harmony Rose, of Three Way Freeway and American Sorority Sluts fame, has found a new way to help people. The star of over 200 pornos between the years of 2004 and 2010 has decided she wants to ride on an ambulance squad. The only issue is that there are some members of the community who are not so thrilled about her new choice of careers.

Rose, who goes by her non porno moniker of Tracy Rolan, left the porn industry to train in a specialized EMT course so she could ride with the volunteer squad in Roanoke, Virginia according to WDBJ 7. Town officials are trying to stop the sex starlet from participating, worried about her participation and the message it sends.

Rose has left the porn industry completely with IMDB listing her last film being shot in 2010.

Fire Chief Rich Burch faced a quandary when he found out about Rose’s previous career from Roanoke Fire & Rescue employees, Director of Public Information Teresa Hall told the Huffington Post. Burch contacted the Office of the County Attorney to find out what the protocol was for dealing with the porn star.

Attorney Paul M. Mahoney replied on June 27. In a letter obtained by the Huffington Post, Mahoney said the County really doesn’t have the legal ability to intercede in a volunteer rescue squad. He did point out that “Anything that results in public ridicule of the volunteer squads . . . must be avoided.”

Mahoney offered a recommendation for Burch saying that the County “supports the decision of the volunteer chief if she decides to terminate the membership of [Rose].”
