Paris Jackson Exposes Alcoholism, As She Fires Back At Online Bullies

Paris Jackson, the 17-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, is firing back against haters and online bullies, as well as some loyal fans, in a rant that started a comment firestorm on Instagram. The post has since been deleted, but Jackson’s words still linger on, particularly because the lengthy post revealed that she is struggling with alcoholism. It remains a mystery as to whether this revelation was intentional or not, as it comes on the heels of Jackson’s recovery from a failed suicide attempt.

This may be the result of trying to keep up with every fan, something virtually every other celebrity has learned is next to impossible. Coming from a family filled with celebrities, one has to wonder why some of the older Jacksons haven’t helped Paris to relax and not let herself get stressed over so much online attention.

Paris Jackson Reacts To The Demands Both Fans And Critics Place Upon Her

Many celebrities have expressed similar sentiments, but even the most outspoken Hollywood A-listers haven’t been as blunt as Paris was in her Instagram post.

“This is f—-ing ridiculous. I am expected to literally sit on my a– all day replying to comments people leave me (positive and negative)? I have A.A. meetings to go to. Family obligations. PERSONAL obligations,” wrote Paris Jackson in the Instagram caption. “Its so f—ing selfish that i am literally attacked on every f—ing thing i post just because people that i DONT EVEN KNOW aren’t getting what they want.”

The daughter of the late King of Pop added that, while she does appreciate the attention, she feels that her followers expectations are out of line. She further comments that similar demands of father, Michael Jackson, were what drove him to an early grave.

“The expectations for my DAD were f—-ing ridiculous. He didn’t owe you anything, yet he was ripped to shreds DAILY. I will not let that happen to me.”

Paris Jackson Has Been Troubled By The Online Community For Many Years

While there’s no telling exactly what prompted Paris to make such an emotionally charged rant, it seems clear that the stresses of living a high profile lifestyle has had a huge impact on her life. Early in 2013, Jackson posted a similar rant, just following a suicide attempt. In that posting, she blamed the constant barrage of comments and criticisms for her attempted suicide.

“People have been ramming me since the second I unchecked the privacy button. I’m just not taking sh– anymore…like when I was 14 and deleting every single comment by hand because people were fighting too much and sending to so much hate to the point where I was suicidal? It’s always been like this.”

At the time of the suicide attempt, Paris’ mother, Debbie Rowe, commented that she had faith in her ability to recover from the failed attempt and to become a better person, because she had inherited Michael’s strength. It seems Rowe was right. Aside from the recently removed Instagram posting, Paris has moved on and grown stronger. She has even started dating. Currently, Paris is dating soccer player Chester Castellaw and, according to gossip, Paris has taken Chester’s last name on some social media sites.

Paris is definitely headed in the right direction and her participation in an A.A. program is proof of her good intentions, but it seems she needs more help than her substance abuse counselors can offer. While many in the Jackson family welcome the attention of their celebrity statuses, it seems Paris would rather do without it. Paris Jackson may never be truly happy, unless she steps away from the limelight altogether.
