Jubilee Sharpe Wants To Be ‘The Bachelorette’: Could She Get The Job?

Jubilee Sharpe was just sent home on The Bachelor 2016, but that doesn’t mean that she is done with the show just yet. If Jubilee has her way about it, then she will be back again, but this time she will be the one handing out the roses and trying to find her perfect match. In Touch Weekly shared the news that Jubilee Sharpe really does want to be picked for the job.

A source close to Jubilee is speaking out and says that she wants the job.

“She wants to do it. She’s hoping producers keep her in the running. She’s had such an interesting life. It’s the reason a lot of people behind the scenes are rooting for her and telling execs they should give her a chance.”

Jubilee Sharpe is just 24-years-old, but she has a great story. She lost her parents at a young age and Jubliee was adopted. Jubliee also went on to join the U.S. Army and serve in Afghanistan. The thing is Jubilee does have a hard time getting close to someone, and wasn’t even sure about holding hands with Ben Higgins. This could make it hard when there are 25 different men wanting to hold her hand and have her affection.

ABC already shared that they are looking into someone that is diverse to be the next girl cast as The Bachelorette. They have not had an African-American lead on the show before, and Jubilee is a perfect match for this role. It would be pretty surprising if they actually cast someone that went home as early as Jubilee Sharpe did, though. The producers could be looking for someone that has not been on the show before, or someone that is diverse without being African-American.

Wet Paint shared that Ben Higgins is now revealing the reasons behind his split with Jubliee Sharpe and why he sent her home when he did. Watching The Bachelor, it was obvious that Ben was very unhappy when he tried to hold her hand, and Jubilee wouldn’t go for it. In his People blog, Ben Higgins shared the real reasons behind his split with Jubilee Sharpe.

“You only really saw me talking to her at last week’s cocktail party in Las Vegas and telling her that I could tell that she looked scared out of her mind, but what led up to that was Jubilee really isolating herself.

“She wasn’t opening up and communicating her doubts or concerns and from what I could tell, there was a real division between her and the other women. My biggest issue so far was that Jubilee wasn’t communicating any of this to me at this point.”

Ben Higgins liked Jubilee Sharpe, but he knew they didn’t have a future. Ben Higgins shared the details.

“When she looked me in the eyes and asked if I could still see a future with her, I could no longer honestly say yes. She is a wonderful woman. More than that, she is one of the most impressive people I have ever met in my life. But she wasn’t my future wife.”
