Jennifer Lopez is going without makeup for a video with her boyfriend, showing the world that even at 46, she’s still got it.
The actress-turned-singer, and now reality television maven, appeared in a new Dubsmash video alongside boyfriend Casper Smart. In the video description, Casper poked some fun at Jennifer Lopez not wearing makeup, saying the video is just for “fun & humor” and bragging that his girlfriend has got “flawless skin.”
“Wtf do you look like without make up” he wrote “Cause she got flawless skin without any!!! #dubsmash #starbucks #chipotle #yogapants #morestarbucks #yasssss #whitegirlsanthem.”

In the video, J.Lo makes some hilarious faces to answer Casper’s recitation of the viral Vine video.
Jennifer Lopez is renowned in Hollywood for her youthful looks, but nature is only part of that. In a story last year on the “anti-aging secrets” of Lopez and other aging actresses, W magazine went right to the source to find that they aren’t likely as natural as they might have fans believe.
“I have this conversation 10 times a day with patients,” Manhattan dermatologic surgeon Dendy Engelman told the magazine. “They’ll say, ‘I work out. I’m vegan. I don’t drink alcohol. I drink lots of water. Why do these actresses still look so much better than I do?’ And I can tell you, because I treat a lot of them: Anyone who looks like that and says she hasn’t done any kind of enhancement isn’t telling the truth.”
Harold Lancer, the Beverly Hills dermatologist who has worked with Beyoncé and Scarlett Johansson, also noted that Jennifer Lopez was among the first generation of celebrities to start paying attention to their skincare in their 20s.
“Dakota Fanning was 9 when she first walked into my office,” Lancer told W. “I make sure my patients of any age understand the value of exercise, avoiding carbohydrates, salt, and dairy. Then I start them on a skincare routine. After two weeks, we reevaluate, and they’ll have microdermabrasion. At six weeks, we’ll try ultrasound or radiofrequency to lift the neck, cheekbones, and brows. Needles are considered at about three months in. My clients aren’t just in it for a quick fix. They understand that they’re starting a cycle of chronic and expensive maintenance. There’s no such thing as planting a garden that doesn’t need weeding.”
That seems to be the approach Jennifer Lopez has taken. She is asked often about her skincare and health regimen, and recently told the TODAY show that it’s been a long time planning and a lot of abstinence from vices to look as good as she does now.
“I never took sun when I was younger,” she said. “I wasn’t a drinker, I didn’t smoke. But I feel like at the core, it’s how you feel inside and who you are inside kind of shows on your face.”

Lopez also shared some of her fitness secrets with People magazine, saying it’s important to get plenty of sleep and start out each day with a moment of calm. From there, she gets down to the “hard work,” which includes an exercise regimen including freestyle dance that incorporates “light weights (3 lbs) for the arms and moves that focus on the butt and thighs and engage the core.”
