Khloe Kardashian Opens Up On How Kourtney Turned Her Life Around, Her Current Thoughts On Brother Rob And Blac Chyna

Khloe Kardashian recently shared a post on her website and app to talk about how her older sister Kourtney kept her life from “spiraling” out of control following the death of their father in 2003, reported ET Online.

No one can deny the amount of success the Kardashian family has accumulated since their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians became one of America’s most popular reality shows. But their rise to fame didn’t come easy at first. For one, the death of their father, Robert Kardashian, took a heavy emotional toll on the family for many years.

It was especially difficult for Khloe, who resorted to some acting-out behavior following the death of the Kardashian patriarch. According to her, she used to party and drink all the time, and her life would have turned for the worse if it wasn’t for her sister Kourtney.

“After my dad [Robert Kardashian] died in 2003, I was partying all the time, drinking a lot and sleeping in every morning.”

If there’s another common trait the Kardashian clan share, it is their inclination to always look out for each other especially through difficulties. Khloe recounted how Kourtney turned her life around just by giving her a “reason to wake up in the morning.”

“At this time, my mom [Kris Jenner] and Kourtney were running their kids store, Smooch, and when the space next door opened up, Kourt got it!” the Strong Looks Better Naked author recalled. “She saw that I was spiraling and wanted to give me responsibility and a reason to wake up in the morning.”

“So she told me I was going to help her run her new store,” Ms. Kardashian added. “Kourt, Kim and I were the only employees and really had no idea what we were doing.”

The late Robert Kardashian, an American attorney and successful businessman, left his family a legacy that put them in good stead. More importantly, the late Kardashian patriarch showed his children the value of hard work. It paid off in more ways than one. The way things are going with the Kardashians right now, it looks like they have followed his example to the letter.

“It was really important to my dad that we knew the value of hard work and took responsibility for our own success,” Khloe wrote. “Kourt, Kim and I definitely put those values to work when we started DASH. I think my dad would be really proud of us.”

Khloe then opened up about her controversial brother, Rob. As everyone knows, there’s currently a lot of tension brewing between the Kardashians and Rob on account of him dating exotic entertainer Blac Chyna. Blac, who is now romantically-linked to Khloe’s younger stepsister, Kylie, used to be engaged with Blac Chyna and even had a child with him.

This snag in familial relations caused Khloe to kick Rob out of her house. Blac being arrested last week for drug possession and intoxication doesn’t help matters either. Meanwhile, Rob, who struggled with deep depression a year ago, never looked happier — and it’s all thanks to Miss Chyna.

When Khloe read out loud some of the questions and comments posted on her website, one fan’s message went, “I just want Rob to be happy and be treated the way he deserves.”

“Girl, I agree,” responded Khloe. “Whatever makes Rob happy.”

Does this mean that Khloe has forgiven Rob and is now willing to accept Blac Chyna into the family should it come to that? It’s hard to say, but her acknowledging her brother’s happiness is a step in the right direction.
